15th February 2018, Jalandhar: Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized enthralling ‘Gaana’ Campus Connect Live Music Concert at its Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis auditorium, with 30,000 students’ viewing capacity. On this occasion, Salman Khan starrer ‘Kick’ film song “Yaar Naa Mile” famed Bollywood singer and writer Jasmine Sandlas enthralled LPU students. LPU Students also got an opportunity to perform along with visiting star singers and music composers Jasmine and B Praak, on the enchanting tunes of popular NISSI Band. LPU students of Journalism, film production and performing arts departments interacted with the campus visiting Bollywood & Pollywood’s top stars.

Presently, California-based globetrotter Jasmine, who debuted in Bollywood as a playback singer in movie ‘Kick’ alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh, presented many of her hits including "Ishq Da Sutta", "Raat Jashan Di", 'Muskan' and many other from her famous albums 'The Diamond', 'Gulabi' and more. Interacting with students, Jasmine shared: “I always had bigger dreams to create music and make a name for myself in the world. So, I always felt the urge to express myself through writing and creating melodies and found myself coming to music over and over again. Now, my goal as a singer and songwriter is to make good quality music that fans like you love.” Continuing she advised students: “Always care for the encouragement you get from your family, close friends and teachers all of whom know you well. Dream big and doors for the successful ways will open automatically.”

Following the family music traditions and his ideal Gurdas Maan, notable singer and music composer B Praak presented his astonishing and thematic hits “Mann Bharrya”, “Bewafaai” and more. These soulful songs made him earn an overwhelming response from LPU students. He shared with students that he wants to boost up his passion for music with a new breath of life by providing solid messages to the society.

On asking by LPU students what she considers about life, Jasmine answered: “Always keep in mind that life is full of beautiful surprises and mine is one of them. Once I was a little girl from Punjab to California with dreams larger than life. My first Bollywood song is the title track for none other than Salman Khan, isn’t it an honor and a great surprise for its being all-time hit.” She also informed that along with great music, she also appreciates professionalism.
