Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) is a private University, located in Kota, Rajasthan. The University offers various UG & PG courses in the field of Management, education, Arts & Science along with lateral entry programmes. After Completion of the minimum period of course work, University conducts end term examination from June 15th & December 21st for both of the cycles every year.
VMOU Exam Timetable
VMOU releases the tentative exam schedule for its December session on the official website. Students can check the exam dates for all UG & PG courses with respect to the morning & evening shift of the examination.
VMOU releases the result online for all the study centres on the official website only. Students must follow the given steps to check the results.
- Visit to the official website of the VMOU.
- Scroll to the Examination tab & click on the results link.
- After clicking on the result link, you will be redirected to the result page.
- Either you can click on your desired course link or on the detailed results.
- Now enter your scholar number & select the programme.
- Submit & download your scorecard for future use.
Note: By following the same process students, can also check the results for lateral entry courses.
VMOU Revaluation of Marks
Those students who are not satisfied with their marks in a any subject can apply directly for the rechecking or retotalling of the responses. They have to just click on the apply for revaluation link provided on the website.
Criteria for Successful Candidates
There are certain rules & regulations for end term examination as prescribed by YMOU. In order to pass the course, students have to satisfy the minimum marks requirement. Students have to secure at least 36% marks in the exam except BCP/BAP/BSCP courses.
60 or more than 60
Between 48 to 60
Between 36 to 48
There is a different grading system for both credit based & non-credit based courses. Students can check their CGPA/YGPA score through the below listed table:
A (Very Good)
B (Above Average)
C (Below Average)
NC (Not Completed)
H (Very Poor)
In case of NC, E or H grade, students have to reappear in the end term examination again. Minimum fees for Graduate courses is INR 200 & for PG courses it is INR 300.
