The field of law is a dynamic and progressive one, mandating the need for individuals who wish to break into this sector to figure out the best form of education that they can opt for. After all, this will ensure that little to no problems come in the way of what can prove to be a highly illustrious legal career. Unfortunately, there’s a wrong stigma attached to this particular career vertical that a job in the field of law is not all that interesting – an incorrect perception that needs to be altered in the general population sooner rather than later. While there’s admittedly a ton of paperwork involved in practicing law, there are numerous interesting avenues and facets in the field of law – especially if you plan to get into the highly exciting area of criminal law.

After all, the prosecution or defence of clients that has been glorified in movies and TV shows mainly revolves around the topic of criminal law itself, so it’s not all that surprising that budding lawyers want to break into this particular niche of law and make their dreams a reality. However, this job market is not an easy one to break through – numerous aspirants have the same goal of practicing criminal law, making this field a highly populated one where the demand for jobs is many, but the supply is woefully lacking.

Therefore, a natural question might pop into your head at this point – what exactly can be done to ensure that you don’t find yourselves in the unappealing position of not being able to secure a job in the field of criminal law?

The answer to this question can be provided in five simple words – take a specialized bachelor degree in Law.

To be more specific, we highly recommend that you choose to opt for a BA LLB with a specialization in Criminal Law, in simple words a criminal law degree,  which will help ensure that little to no problems come in the way of you obtaining the job you need in the field you want. There are many reputed institutes like the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) that offer this specialized course to help improve your job prospects in this breakneck industry.

The reasons to opt for this specialization are obvious – any legal firm requiring professionals who practice criminal law will find it in their best interests to hire professionals who already have a solid foundation when it comes to the practices involved in this vertical. By equipping individuals with a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the regulatory framework of criminal law and providing them with an in-depth introduction into the work of the Criminal Justice System, students will be able to obtain extensive knowledge of criminal law and break into this sector with greater ease.

Criminal law is an exciting facet of the legal industry that most people would like to break into. However, the fact of the matter is that obtaining a good and stable job in this field is easier said than done. Thankfully, with the advent of specialized law courses, breaking into the legal vertical of your choice will become easier. This applies to the field of criminal law as well and going for a BA LLB with a specialization in criminal law will go a long way in ensuring that little to no problems come in the way of you nailing your dream job.

"3 Years of Journey with UPES "

UPES is the best college among the other colleges in the race. Every college has its pros, and cons the same is there for this one. UPES has various clubs that organize event and competitions on the regular term. Apart from all, it has its flagship fest organized timely. No ragging issue is there as well backed up by the DSA of College which has information about every student what is he doing and not.

"Biholi campus"

UPES is a good 3rd tier college. Since I was not able to get my hands in IIT-JEE this was my only option but I didn't regret afterwards. Its a good college in terms of exposure and some faculty member are comparable to that of IITs. If you are good at something and want to progress on that you can do well anywhere but UPES adds to that by giving exposure and the resources required. Also, I had people before me who were already in the college which also helped me a lot.

"Satisfied till a level, but still got a huge scope of improvement"

First of all, this was the only college near to my place providing a degree in civil engineering with specialization in Infrastructure. Secondly, it had a good reputation among the companies as well as overall in the education market. Thirdly the campus is located in foothills of Himalayas 9 km away from the city, making better study environment.
