Your completely filled applications should reach the university on or before December 19, 2015.
JNTU Anantapur Eligibility Criteria:
For Ph.D.: The minimum educational qualification required by a candidate for applying to this program is post-graduation in the related discipline.
For M.Phil. : Post Graduation Degree/ or equivalent degree in relevant discipline.
For MS (By Research): B.E./B.Tech. Degree or its equivalent in the relevant branch/discipline.

Application Process for JNTU Anantapur:
The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the university. The steps to download application form are as follow:
- Open the official website of the university.
- Click on ‘University Admissions’, you will be redirected to the admission notifications page of the university.
- Now, click on ‘download’ infront of ‘Ph.D.-M.Phil.-M.S. -2015-16 Notification, Instructions, Application and Syllabus’.
- The application form and other important details will be downloaded in pdf format.
- Fill in the application form carefully.
Filled in Application form with all the required certificates and crossed Demand Draft for an amount of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in favor of “Registrar, JNT University Anantapur” payable at Ananthapuramu should reach “Director of Admissions, JNTU Anantapur, Ananthapuramu” on or before December 19, 2015 by 5.00 PM without fine and with a fine of Rs.1000/- up to December 26, 2015 by 5.00 PM.
Also Enclose three self-addressed stamped envelopes of size 22x10cms (Affixing Rs.5/- stamps).
JNTU Anantapur Selection Procedure:
Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in entrance test and/or interview. The entrance test is to be conducted by the university.
Exemption: The candidates who are qualified in UGC/CSIR (JRF) Examination/NET/SLET/SET/ GATE/ GPAT or who possesses relevant M.Phil. (In case of applying for Ph.D.) need not appear for the Entrance examination. However, they shall attend the interview on the specified date which will be intimated to them.
