VGU Jaipur organizes the first ever online conclave

In time of global crisis, when the world is hit hard by the pandemic, every industry is suffering from its after-effects. This being the right time to find solutions and engage oneself in developing post COVID strategies Vivekananda Institute of Technology & Vivekananda Global University Jaipur organized an online conclave Re-Engineered recently. Many prominent educationalists and professionals from different parts of the country joined the session and added to the motto of the session to reinvent engineering education.
1000+ audiences discussed engineering education and profession for 30+ hours and an enriching week with deliberations by experts from across the globe making it a milestone journey. The esteemed expert from Academia, industries and campus alumnus expressed their views on wide range of themes relating the engineering education and professional prospects as Education 4.0 , Building Community Innovation Culture at Campuses, Growth Potential in Various Sectors Post COVID-19, Reinventing internship and projects for engineering education, Engineering as a bright career path, Evolving Societies Technically post Covid19 and many more.
The event saw a never before galaxy of engineers discussing their perspectives and nuances of the domain. Among the panelists and moderators were Prof. Sandeep Sancheti, (Vice Chancellor, SRM IST, Senior Academician) Prof. R.A. Gupta, (Vice Chancellor, Rajasthan Technical University), Shri Rajendra Singh Sisodia, (Ex. VGU organizes new learning and innovative online festival CODE-VGU

Centre for Design Excellence, (CODE), a constituent body of Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur celebrated the success of its first-ever Online Learning Festival #NoLockdownOnEducation for students, professionals, academicians and aspiring candidates related to the creative domains of architecture and design streaming live from past 6 days. In the age of social distancing, CODE successfully connected people digitally from all over the country following the digital revolution. The festival provided a virtual platform for students, professionals, academicians, and aspiring candidates to interact and engage with each other along with learning at its best. Several webinars, expert talks, and student open sessions under various Themes, New Designers for a renovated world, Dil Se, What students say, Crack the entry code, Compete, conquer, and contribute were conducted to engage young minds.
CODE-VGU conducted its first online webinar session series. This provided a platform for all the professionals to come, share, and discuss their projects, learning, and design ideologies with the students, aspiring ones, and others. The campaign invited renowned architects, designers, and academicians from different parts of the country like Ar. Dhruv Gupta, an eminent Architect contributing to theme based interior projects in the city, Fort Restaurant, Retro, Night-Jar, Chairman, Education Committee, ARCASIA, Ms. Kirti Rathore, Only Fashion Designer for men’s in the Fashion Industry, Prof. (Col) Shishir Kumar, Director General-ImaginXP, and Ms. Shuchi VC, Principle Designer & owner of the label Shuchi VC discussing their insights on architecture, interior, fashion, and UX design.
University CEO, Mr. Onkar Bagaria said, “the past six days were full of resources and learning for the students as well as for the fraternity. A successful engagement was seen in all the sessions. Everybody participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. It is a good start to bring people together digitally and adapt to change in education systems. Whatever happens, learning should never stop”.
With open sessions like Dil Se, What students say? Students from across the country came together digitally, connected with CODE students, and shared their experiences and ideas contributing towards designing the education systems followed with a suggestive draft for the formulation of new education systems. There were conversations on the world of feature and faction, time management mantras, passion to profession, etc. The session saw many new connections and friendships taking shape in the end.
Expert sessions by onboard faculties took place on topics important for NATA, UCEED, NIFT, and NID entrance benefitting the aspiring architecture and design aspirants. Around 70 + students attended the sessions every day gaining insight into the architecture and design field.The festival also hosted various competitions for sketching, photography, and innovation open for all. The festival, which saw the participation of over 1500+ participants for the entire week, concluded with lots of new connections, new mentors, and learning at the end. The 6 days event will beginning on April 27th , will be active for a week with 4 sessions per day includes 36 experts from across the country, talking and guiding the students on fashion, interior, product, UI,UX, sustainable design and architecture .The campaign invites renowned architects designers and academicians from different parts of the country like Ar. Vivekananda Global University organises AARAMBH 2019

With the new academic session at colleges, our youngsters are all excited to enter their dream colleges and start exploring the University life. In this league, one of India’s premier institution Vivekananda Global University curated a special event named “Aarambh” to welcome the new batch.
The event hosted few famous dignitaries including Director of Dangal Mr. Nitesh Tiwari, Founder of Jaipur Rugs Mr. NK Chaudhary, International Artist Percussionist Brothers along with RJ Sahil and RJ Arjun.
Registrar of VGU, Mr. Praveen Choudhary, CEO Mr. Omkar Bagaria and President of VGU Prof. P.M.Udani, acknowledged the global educational approach of the University. The event hosted more than 2000 students across the world, including countries such as South Africa and Singapore. The cultural event was covered by the popular music channel with its festival 9xm Bharat Bass Festival.
To introduce a new approach, the Centre For Design Excellence (CODE) a constituent body of Vivekanand University (VGU) Jaipur has been conducting a 15-day Orientation Program from July 15 - August 1, 2019. The idea is to come up with unusual and exciting activities to get their fresher's acquainted with their new college.
The program aims to provide aspiring designers and architectures an insight into the courses through various workshops, conducted by well-known designers and architects such as Rameshwari Kaul, Prachi God, and Vikas Shimpi. The idea is to provide an interactive platform for students to enhance their talent as well as experience varied aspects of the design profession as a whole through a hands-on workshop, brainstorming, quiz exhibition and theatre, and dance workshops.
By setting up the unique orientation program, CODE has lined up a new standard of learning required for advance education. Activities and Workshops like doodling and caricature design are being conducted for engaging their engaging the minds of the budding architects and designers.
"With professional learning approach, workshops for personal betterment of the students like hostel food hacks, Rock climbing, photography, theatre, and dance workshops are getting a good response," said Principal of Architecture at Vivekananda Global University, Ms. Shweta Choudhary. She also mentioned that "the program is also facilitating students to go on educational, industrial tools and heritage works to exposure explore the beautiful city of Jaipur, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage City."
