Admission of Indian students to all the B.Tech courses (except Biotechnology) is done through merit based on the actual marks scored in JEE Main 2017. In case of NRI/ NRI Sponsored/ Foreign Candidates, students will be selected on the basis of SAT exam scores. For candidates without SAT scores, admission will be given based on marks obtained in 10+2 with special relevance to Mathematics & Physics subjects.
The university also offers Direct Admission to 2nd year full-time B.Tech programme (Lateral Entry) in several specializations viz. CSE, ECE and Mech. Lateral entry admissions shall be done based on University Admission Entrance Test 2017 scores as well as marks obtained at 10th/12th level.
Candidates can apply online or download the application form and submit it offline along with the required fee of Rs.1000/- through demand draft. Completed applications, in case of either online or offline submission, must be sent to the university address along with necessary supporting documents within the stipulated time.

B.Tech (CSE, ECE, Civ, Mech, EP, Biotech)
- Candidate should possess minimum 5 Subjects in 10+2 or its equivalent examination. Candidates with 4 subjects are not eligible
- Candidate should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects (For all programs except biotechnology). For Biotechnology programme, Physics and Biology/Biotechnology shall be treated as compulsory subjects
- Candidate should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks in three subjects to include Physics, Mathematics (for all programs except Biotechnology) and Physics, Biology/biotechnology (for Biotechnology) and one subject amongst Chemistry, Computer Science, Informatics Practices and Multimedia & Web Technology
- Candidate must appear for JEE Main 2017 and should have passed 10+2 in the last three years i.e. 2015, 2016 or 2017
- Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1996 are only eligible to apply for admission
B.Tech (NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign candidates)
Candidates with a score of 1800 (as per old SAT) and 1200 (as per new SAT) shall be given provisional admission without reference to merit, subject to fulfilling other admission eligibility criteria as listed above
B.Tech (Lateral Entry)
Candidate should have completed or will be completing 1st year B.Tech in 2017 from a recognized university in the respective branch (OR)
Candidate should have passed three year diploma after 10th class with minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Science and Mathamatics (OR)
Candidate should have completed Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc.) with minimum 60% aggregate in marks and Mathematics as a compulsory subject
For B.Tech (JEE Main Based)
Admission to 1st year B.Tech programme (CSE, ECE, Civ, Mech, EP) will be done through merit based on actual marks secured by the candidate in JEE Main 2017. Candidate must submit the marks of JEE (Main) 2017 and 10+2 examination to the University immediately after declaration of results of Paper -1 of JEE (Main) 2017
The university will announce the merit lists for all streams (except Biotechnology) based on the actual marks obtained by the candidate in Paper -1 of JEE (Main) exam results. Subsequent rounds of counseling for admission will be held at a specified venue as per university schedule.
For B.Tech (Biotechnology)
In case of admission to 1st year B.Tech in Biotechnology course, the Merit list for admission shall be drawn based on the percentage of actual marks obtained by the candidate in three subjects in 10+2 examination.
For NRI candidates
In case of NRI/NRI sponsored/Foreign candidates, the University merit lists shall be announced based on the marks obtained in Best of three subjects by the candidate in 10+2 examination. For candidates having SAT score of 1800 (as per old SAT) and 1200 (as per new SAT) shall be given provisional admission without reference to merit.
For B.Tech (Lateral Entry)
For Lateral entry admissions, admission will purely be based on merit drawn on the following parameters:
- Total marks obtained in Admission Entrance Test 2017 – 60% weightage
- Marks obtained in 10th/12th for Diploma holders or 12th standard examinations (For 1st Year B Tech/B.Sc Students in PCM) – 40% weightage

Candidates can apply online using net banking/credit/debit card / bank draft or they can download the application form through the university website and submit it offline along with the application fee.
