Hyderabad, January 08, 2019: Lambton College Professors from Canada visited GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad to understand the education system of India. They wanted to know the entire teaching and learning processes in Indian institutions as a part of ‘21st Century Teaching & Learning’ program, held on January 5, 2019.
Lambton College, Overseas Education, and Career Consultants, Australia have joined hands to conduct a research activity with premier institutions in India. The main purpose to do so is to understand, different teaching and learning styles followed in Indian institutions. For this activity, Lambton sent a few of its professors to India. This activity is purely based on the purpose of Lambton College’s consumption and urge to understand how Indian students are taught in classes and the methodologies used by professors during the learning process.

Lambton College Professors team included Mr. Blair Partington, Coordinator – Power Engineering program, Ms. Ann Kelly, Ms. Erica Kelly of Professors – English Department, Ms. Barbara Dobson, 1st year coordinator - Chemical Production, Ms. Maria Recchia, English communication - School of Business, Ms. Lois Nantais, Coordinator - Centre for Academic Integrity, Mathew Radford, Lambton Representative, Prasenjeet Mukherjee, EVP, OECC Australia, Nipun Sharma, State Manager North and Karthik, State Manager South of OECC India visited GITAM, Hyderabad and interacted with the faculty. They all were divided into teams and visited all the labs, classroom, incubation center, innovation center, Skill Development Centre, Knowledge Resource Centre, and more. This helped them to get a clear understanding of the entire procedure and methods followed in the education industry.
