GITAMHyderabad, February 19, 2019: GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad students, on Monday, organized a protest rally against the terrorist attack on Central Reserve Police Force Jawans in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on February 14th, the second most deadly attack in the history of the CRPF. They observed one-minute silence in memory of the brave martyrs. Paying tributes to the martyred CRPF Jawans, they raised slogans ‘veer jawan amar rahe’.

Prof. N. Siva Prasad, Pro Vice-Chancellor, GITAM, Hyderabad took lead in the rally and said that “we have to send out the concerns about the global peace to the neighboring countries who are participating and encouraging this type of violence. The terrorism not confined to one country, it’s a global phenomenon. Every one of us suffered from the terror. Serve our country by the knowledge we acquire, we have spent our time in a dedicated way to acquire the knowledge that helps the country’s growth.”
