Hyderabad, March 28, 2019: GITAM Deemed-to-be University, Hyderabad has received ‘Haritha Haram’ award from Dr. V.K. Saraswat, the Hon’ble Member of NITI Aayog. The information was given by Prof. N.Siva Prasad, the Vice-Chancellor of GITAM.
GITAM, Hyderabad Resident Director DVVSR Varma and National Service Scheme (NSS) Coordinator Dr. P.V. Nagendra Kumar jointly received this award in the illuminated function of CII Telangana. The annual meet was conducted at Taj Krishna, Hyderabad.
Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), had planted more than 50,000 saplings in 2018 as a part of Telangana Government’s prestigious program ‘Haritha Haram’. Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Dept. of the Telangana Government with the other CII higher officials also took part on this occasion.
