Bankura University offers PG & Ph.D programmes in various schools, namely, School of Social Sciences, School of Language, Literature & Culture Studies & School of Science. The entire PG courses are divided into four semesters. There will be one written & one practical examination at the end of course work of each semester. Students have to appear in the internal assessment, as it is mandatory to complete the course work.
In order to secure the degree in the final semester, students have to perform well in different areas such as Project Report, Term Paper & Field work report as a part of the special or optional papers. Students have to secure at least 55% marks to qualify in these areas.
Bankura University Semester Result
Provisional semester result will be published along with the total marks obtained by a candidate in each paper. In case, if a candidate fails to secure qualifying marks in a particular semester examination then the result of next semester examination will be treated as Semester Not Cleared (SNC). The final result of a candidate will be determined by considering marks of all four semesters. Students can check their result by going through the below listed steps:
- Visit to the official website of the Bankura University.
- In the main menu, click on the ‘Student’s Corner’ section.
- Now in the drop-down menu, click on results.
- You will be redirected to the result listing page.
- Enter your registration number & submit.
- Save & submit the result for future use.
Bankura University Improvement Result
Students can apply for improvement in their semester marks, provided they have scored at least 50% marks in the respective course. Students must note that they cannot apply for improvement of marks in case of Term Paper, Project Paper, Internal assessment & viva-voce.Last Updated - 22 Feb 2017
