Dr. D. T. Roshini is currently working as the Dean Academics of Avidus Academy of Management Business School, Chennai. She is a successful Women Entrepreneur with a doctorate in the Area of Management and holds other degrees as well as MBA, M.Com, M.Phil and PGDM.  She has been the Co-founder and Director of Versatile Business School, Egmore, Chennai. She has been the Director, V grow HR Consulting Private Limited. She is the recipient of Achievers award from SDNB Vaishnav College during the year 2014. She served as the Deputy Director for Indira Gandhi National Open University. She had been a part of Vertically Integrated Engineering Program in the State of Andhra Pradesh during the year 2009.  She had been a Board of Study Member of SDNB Vaishnavi College. Chennai, Indo French Chamber of Commerce, National Human Resource Development and Consumer Association of India.

Dr. Roshini has an expertise in delivering sessions in the area of Corporate Dossier, Women Empowerment, the Power of Positive Thinking, the Art of Winning, etc.  She has been a part of the Jury for various National and International Conferences. She is an avid reader and likes to write on the subject of Management. She has travelled widely to attend research and Educational Seminars to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Doha, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Colombo.


Experience in the education industry and working at AAM

With more than a decade of experience in the education industry and currently being the Director of Avidus Academy of Management, I personally feel that I am blessed to be in the education field. At Avidus Academy of we work towards the transformation of students for their professional career and the changes that we see positively with their best placements is the main factor that cheers us to stay in this noble field.


Significant challenges faced by the Dean of Avidus Academy of Management

During the recession time, placement was a challenge that we faced. As a I introduced nine of compulsory on-the-job training with 3 reputed companies, offered through our placement cell which made the students to get work experience. After that initiative, now in Avidus Academy of most of our students get placed during their on-the-job training period itself making us one of the most reputed business school.


The AAM’s Curriculum is ensuring the best practice of industry

Our on-the-job training for 9 months and 4­­­­­­­5 days of orientation program enables the student to get easily transformed from campus to corporate culture. Also, numerous guest lectures are our best practice.


Goals for Avidus Academy of Management to achieve

By 2020, Avidus Academy of Management should be the one with the best Industry Interaction.

We invite faculties who are well qualified and experienced as well as both Academic and Industry exposure to ensure that the students get the best of teaching. Our faculties are either doctorates or have an background.

Avidus Academy of Management always believes that winners don’t do different things but they do things differently. We encourage our students to participate in many management events to improve their confidence level. Through personal at regular we understand their wants and needs and give the best of it.

Each year we work with many new companies for student’s better placement. To improve student’s confidence level, we make them a part of HR forums.

Suggestions for the current youth and the aspiring students

My only suggestion to the youth perseverance. Rome was not built in a day. Make use of the opportunities available without hesitation to have career.
