Q 1. Kindly tell us about your experience in the education industry and what makes it the best industry to work in?
Ans. It has been close to 18 years since I began my journey in the education sphere, and I must say that the experiences along the way have been enriching. Interacting with Millennials and grooming them for the future brings a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment. As an educationalist, we have a huge responsibility in nurturing this generation and guiding them in the right direction. I personally feel the level of satisfaction I get working in this field is like no other.
Q 2. What are the significant challenges that you are facing in bringing out the real vision of the Organization?
Ans. It is necessary to have people who see, understand and believe the vision of the organization. A few challenges that we face today are finding the right faculty who are constantly upgrading their skills, students who are goal oriented. Vision can be translated when the focus is directed towards people who have the same mindsets. It is crucial to be surrounded with people who have zeal and a lot of perseverance.
Q 3. Tell us about some of your experiences and how does your curriculum ensure the best practices of the industry?
Ans. Over the years, we have been involving the industry experts directly with planning and strategizing for the institution in various academic and non-academic areas. The directors involved directly with the industry experts in designing and conceptualizing new practices. This is a yearly practice that has helped strengthen our curriculum resulting in better placements and job profiles.

Apart from the university offered specialization, we offer diploma certifications in niche and upcoming areas to improve the job opportunities for our students. We are also working on building an online platform for students to access information at any given time. Our approach has always been a blended structure to deliver and build skills of students since every student is unique in his/her abilities.
Q 6. How do you plan to build a positive school culture or climate in ABBS?
Ans. Having a higher degree of student engagement right from the first day is necessary to build that positivity in overall school culture. Engaging and constant feedback systems using various tools and modes ensure that the student is being heard. Providing facilities and access to various out-of-classroom opportunities ensure that the culture in the college changes for the better. Encouraging students to make mistakes always builds a culture of growth, confidence and overall positivity.
Q 7. What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
Ans. I would describe myself as a team player. I do show a lot of compassion and understand my faculty and staff. I believe in walking forward along with the team and taking everyone along who is with us- this is something that has worked for me and the organization. It is important to listen to your team, as they always have valuable inputs.
Q 8. What would be your ideal school environment, and how would you encourage that kind of culture?
Ans. An ideal school environment would be one with a lot of student engaging activities such as research work, co-curricular activities, CSR events, public speaking, event management and entrepreneurship. The interaction should always be a two-way street to get the best possible outcome based results.
Q 9. Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?
Ans. As a mother, I would like to advice all the aspiring students to find their purpose and follow it relentlessly. There will be many obstacles and distractions along the way but always keep the end goal in mind and work towards that daily.
