University of Kerala is an affiliating university with more than 150 colleges under its jurisdiction. For most of the professional courses (under choice based credit system), the university conducts different entrance test in different sessions.
In case of B.Tech, KEAM is conducted by the university whereas KU-CAT scores are accepted for MBA admissions. Similarly, NATA scores are accepted for B.Arch and GATE marks for admission to M.Tech programme. NEET scores are accepted for PG Medical and Dental Courses every year. Candidates are shortlisted for MCA and Law Courses on the basis of marks secured in separate entrance tests, conducted by CEE Kerala.
The university follows semester system for all its courses – odd and even. Final examinations are conducted in the month of December and May for odd and even semesters, respectively. Results for the same are published on the official university website within a month from the examinations.

Registrations for KEAM are open in the month of January with examination in April and result announcement in May. Kerala University notifications regarding different course entrance examinations, conducted by CEE Kerala, are issued as per the respective academic sessions. For eg. – In case of Law courses and PG medical courses, applications are invited in July/ August every year.
Result for different tests is published on the respective examinations’ official website. Candidates can check their scores and merit list to confirm their seat in the counseling process from the online admissions portal available at the Kerala University official website.

In case of PG Medical courses, the Provisional Rank list along with the provisional category lists of General Quota candidates and the result of Service Quota candidates who have appeared for the Entrance Examination are also posted on the official CEE website.
Kerala University Answer Keys & Counseling Process
Upon registration, candidates can download their admit cards along with the answer keys from the official CEE website. Candidates can check their UG, PG and PhD programme semester results from the Examinations Portal available at the official university website.
Steps to check the end semester examination result:
- Candidate should log on to the official Kerala University website.
- Once the home page is loaded, search for the “Results” link under the Examination section.
- Upon clicking the “Results” link, a list of various semester results will be displayed in the browser window. Candidate should search for his/her course and semester result link and click it. For eg. - First year B.Sc (Nursing)Degree Examination April 2019
- Once the PDF link is opened, candidates can find their roll number and total marks indicated against their respective colleges affiliated to KU.
