In a recent statement released by Delhi University on Sunday dated 31 May 2020, the varsity requested students to rely on notifications available on its official websites only. For a while, speculative DU admissions schedules for UG and PG programmes were making rounds in social media.

In the wake of such uncertainty, Delhi University’s official statement shushed all speculations regarding admissions. This is in-line with a press release by Delhi University dated April 3, 2020, of UG/PG/ MPhil/ PhD courses for 2020-2021 academic year.

The statement further advised students to regularly follow the official website for latest updates and notifications on Delhi University UG and PG admissions. Further, students should avoid collecting information from unauthorized sources. However, there were several other authorised sources claiming tentative schedules of UG and PG admissions so far.

For now, Delhi University is expected to release the DU First Cut-Off in August 2020. The year 2020 has seen a considerable delay in releasing cut-off and admission dates for all programs. This is in view of postponement of Class 12 examinations owing to current COVID-19 crisis and subsequent nationwide lockdown.

Delhi University has also released the tentative date sheets for DU JAT 2020 for entry into any of the Delhi University affiliated colleges. Hence as of now, it intends to release 8 to 10 Delhi University Cut-Off lists for 62,000 seats across all 92 affiliated colleges. The DU cut off list will continue to be released until September 2020.
