DTE MBA receives 94,000 MAH CET Applications, second largest after CAT

MAH CET 2017 has come up as the second largest MBA entrance exam after CAT 2016 exam for MBA admission 2017. DTE Maharashtra has received more than 94000 applications this year for MAH CET 2017. Last year, approximately 53000 candidates appeared for MAH CET exam. The exam is to be scheduled for March 4-5, 2017. In India, there is not any national or state level entrance examination except CAT exam for MBA admission has reported such high applications of the candidates.

DTE Maharashtra organizes MAH MBA CET every year for admissions to MBA/MMS courses. MAH CET 2017 is a state level entrance test for admission in MBA colleges with an intake of 40,000 seats. The admission process will be start after declaration of MAH MCA result. Many of the top B-Schools in Maharashtra with high all India ranking will accept MAH MCA CET score. The management seats in MBA colleges, Maharashtra accepting MAH CET 2017 scores are more than 18,000 There are more than ten thousand All India seats are available for non-residents of Maharashtra. The exam got a break in 2013 and all the admissions in Maharashtra B-Schools were finalized through CMAT exam. MAH CET re-started in 2014 with low registrations and higher intake. The interest of the candidates for MBA admissions has increased for MAH CET exam. It records all time high applicants in last four years. Since the fee structure of the MBA colleges in Maharashtra is decided by Shikshan Shulka Samiti, government of Maharashtra. Candidates will have to pay low fee of INR 2 lacs to 2.5 lacs for the MBA programme. Candidates can check the top MBA colleges in Maharashtra through MAH CET as listed below:
