Abstract Reasoning and Logical Reasoning Preparation Tips

Abstract and Logical reasoning sections contain 100 questions. Each question carries 1 mark. No time limit for these sections.

  • Candidates have to solve puzzles daily for their practice
  • Mostly these questions will be asked using alphabets and variables like “A+B” and “P-Q”. Alphabets and variables may confuse you, but candidates should carefully solve the answer and do not make mistakes in it
  • Candidates should find the more data in the arrangements and arrange the sentences to answer arrangements question easily
  • Candidates should solve pie charts and graph questions on their daily basis to crack statement-conclusion questions

Quantitative Reasoning Preparation Tips

Quantitative reasoning section contains 50 questions. Each question carries 1 mark. No time limit for these sections.

  • Candidates have study all the basic concepts first. And through the known concepts as well. Learn all the formula for the areas mentioned for the quantitative section above
  • By reading the questions, candidates have to know the formula and trick to solve the question
  • Candidates have to learn tables up to 25, square roots up to 10 natural numbers, and cubes and squares up to 30 to solve questions quickly

MAH CET Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension section contains 50 questions. Each question carries 1 mark. No time limit for these sections.

  • Candidates have to solve each passage daily to crack reading comprehension. They should read newspaper sections and articles in major areas like sociology, philosophy, technology, etc.
  • The most difficult part is jumbled sentences; candidates have to concentrate more in this section. Solve each passage in the sample paper or previous question paper to easily crack these type of questions
  • Candidates have to study each word in the dictionary to know the meanings of the word which helps to crack synonyms and antonyms questions

Time Management

The time duration of MAH CET 2019 Exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates can easily manage this time. There is no time limit for the sections. So, candidates can choose any section to answer first.

  • At first, candidates have to choose the section where they can spend less time to solve the answers
  • Candidates have to develop their skills to answer the question in minimum possible time
  • Candidates have to follow the short tricks to solve the question quickly and save the time in an exam
