STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
MAH CET 2017 result will be declared by DTE Maharashtra on March 10, 2017. The result will be available in online mode in the form of scorecard indicating marks and rank. Candidates can check the MAH CET result on the official website by using their Application ID and Seat Number. The examination authority will declare the result of all candidates who have appeared in the entrance test. A good score in MAH CET 2017 result will ensure their selection for the further stages of the admission process.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) on the basis of their score. The qualifying marks fixed for MAH CET is not disclosed by DTE. However, the candidates obtaining equal to more than the qualifying marks will only be considered for further admission process. On the basis of performance of candidates in the entrance test and CAP rounds, separate merit list will be prepared for MBA and MMS programme. The final admission will be granted according to the merit list. When DTE MBA results are declared if two or more candidates secure the same marks then tie-break in such a scenario would be done on the basis of age. Thus, the candidate who is older (as per the date of birth mentioned in the application form) would be given a higher rank for DTE MBA admissions 2017.

Approximately 90,000 candidates appeared for MAH CET MBA exam, which was held in online mode on March 4 – 5, 2017. DTE MBA is conducted for admissions to MBA/MMS programme in the various institutes of Maharashtra.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in MAH CET 2017. This score will be considered for granting admission. Candidates must note that the merit list will only give the relative position obtained by the candidates and it doesn’t guarantee admission. Tie breaker round is considered for the generation of the merit list in case the candidates score equal marks and percentile. The merit list is generated by calculation of percentile among the candidates aspiring for the Maharashtra State Seats and for the All India Seats and J&K Migrant Seats. After the declaration of MAH CET Result, various participating Institutes will determine the cutoff after considering various factors such as difficulty level of the entrance test, number of candidates appeared for the test, MAH CET 2016 cutoff etc. The cutoff is basically applied to shortlist eligible candidates and call them to participate in the counselling process. Only candidates who will qualify this entrance test will be considered for the shortlisting purpose.

Candidates appeared in last year MAH CET can also apply for MAH CET 2017 counselling process. They have to login using Application ID and Seat Number and appear for various rounds of CAP. There will be multiple counselling rounds based on the number of vacant seats remain after each round of CAP. The counselling fee is INR 2000 for general category while it is INR 1800 for SC/ST category.
After the declaration of the final results of the MAH CET 2017, DTE Maharashtra conducts Centralized Admission Process (CAP) rounds from the month of June. According to the marks of the candidates, their ranks are determined and are allotted colleges. On completion of the counselling rounds, the final list of selected candidates is declared tentatively during the third week of June.
