STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
JCECE 2017 for B.V.Sc., A.H., Agriculture and Forestry will held on May 14, 2017. JCECE Application Form will be available from April 3 – April 30, 2017. The Forms will be available both online and on the official center assigned by the JCECE Board, Ranchi.
JCECE Admit Card will be available on the official website from May 2017. JCECE Exam Center for B.Sc. Agriculture for the candidates applying in the PCMB and PCB group is Ranchi. JCECE 2017 is a written examination with 50 objective type questions in each section for PCB group (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and PCMB group (Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology). The candidates have to mark the answers correctly in the OMR Sheet. JCECE Result will be declared in the 2nd week of June followed by the JCECE Counselling.
The candidates must check JCECE 2017 eligibility for B.V.Sc. & A.H. before beginning the JCECE Application Process. Ineligibility in any aspect can lead to cancellation of candidature. The candidate should be of 17 years by the 31st December 2017 to be eligible for the course. JCECE Eligibility for B.V.Sc. & A.H. is determined by considering the Age Limit, Residential Criteria, Academic Qualification and Physical Criteria.
Candidate must be a permanent/local resident of Jharkhand as per the domicile by the Raj Bhasa, Government of Jharkhand. The candidate must possess a proper Local Resident Certificate assigned by the Government of Jharkhand.
Candidate must follow the guidelines issued by V.C.I. for this stream according to which the candidate must have passed the I.SC/10+2 or any similar examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. Any candidate appearing for I.SC/10+2 or any equivalent examination can also apply for JCECE but it is necessary for him/her to clear it before the counselling date.
The candidates shortlisted for admissions have to undergo a medical checkup by the Board and the candidates who are medically fit shall be eligible for admissions through JCECE 2017.
The reservation criteria for JCECE 2017 is applicable for candidates who belong to Jharkhand. It provides admissions to the candidates in various colleges offering B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme in Jharkhand. The candidate is required to be a Permanent or Local Resident of Jharkhand as per the domicile issued by the Jharkhand Government. The candidate must possess a proper Local Resident Certificate issued by the authority assigned by Government of Jharkhand to avail the reservation.
JCECE Reservation is carried out on the basis of Caste and for Disabled Candidates. The JCECE 2017 Reservation is explained below:
JCECE 2017 Reservation on Caste Basis
JCECE 2017 Reservation is based on the latest Reservation Policy of the Jharkhand Government by various government and private institutes in Jharkhand. The candidates have to submit a Caste Certificate in desired format issued by Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) or Dy. Commissioner of Jharkhand State. The candidates belonging to the Backward Classes have to submit Caste Certificate with the Creamy Layer factor during JCECE Counselling. Caste Certificate issued by another authority is considered invalid and the candidate will be considered under General Category.
JCECE 2017 Reservation for Disabled Candidates
Candidates with hearing, verbal or physical disabilities or all of them can avail the JCECE 2017 Reservation for Disabled Candidates. Candidates with lower or upper or both parts of the body 40% partially disabled are also considered for reservation. Candidates have to submit a full-size photograph and Certificate of Disability by the competent authority at the time of JCECE Counselling.
Candidates can carry out the JCECE Registration online or through ICR Application Form or by purchasing OMR Application Form from the designated Post office.
To apply online for the JCECE 2017, the candidates are required to visit the official website. Then, Click on apply online. Post Clicking, the candidates can fill the application form by providing the necessary details. The application fee is 1200 INR (650 INR for SC/ST) for PCMB and . Submit the fee either through credit/debit card or through e-challan.The last date of submission of on-line application is April 30, 2017. Download the admit card from the official website from May 1st week, 2017. The steps for the JCECE 2017 Registration are explained below.
Step-1 Registration- Visit the official website. Open the On-line Application form link. Read the instructions carefully and fill the form. You will receive a registration number along with password on your mobile phone and E-mail Id. After Registration, Login using the registration number and password received and submit. The next steps after registration are Uploading the images and fee payment.
Step-2 Uploading the Photograph, Signature and Left Hand's Thumb Impression- Upload a scanned copy of your Latest and identical passport size photo and signature (JPG format only) along with Left Hand's Thumb Impression.
Step-3 Fee Payment- Post uploading the necessary images, the next step is payment of fee. Pay your application fee through following mode of payment:

Candidates will be allocated the JCECE Exam Centers by the JCECE Board, Ranchi. The candidates applying for B.Sc Agriculture will belong to the subject groups PCM, PCB and PCMB. JCECE 2017 Exam Center for PCB and PCMB group is Ranchi. The candidate must reach the Exam Center with all the required documents to avoid any discrepancy. The candidates have to carry JCECE Admit Card to the Exam Center.
The candidates will obtain the JCECE Admit Card on successful submission of the JCECE Application Form. The candidates may download the JCECE Admit Card from the official website by May 1st week, 2017. Candidates must carry the JCECE 2017 Hall ticket on the examination day to avoid any discrepancy. The steps to be followed to download the JCECE 2017 Admit Card are as follows:
JCECE 2017 is an offline examination i.e. written examination with objective type questions. The questions asked will be based on the syllabus of CBSE class 11th and 12th. The medium of examination is English and Hindi. In case of discrepancy, the English translation will be considered final. There will be 4 papers namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Each section has 50 questions with 4 options. Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark. The candidates are not marked for unanswered questions. ¼ marks shall be deducted for every incorrect answer.

JCECE Result for B.V.Sc. & A.H. will be declared post evaluation of the answer sheet. JCECE results shall be displayed on the official website by the 3rd week of June. The steps followed to download or view the JCECE 2017 Result are as follows:
The JCECE Board prepares 2 Merit Lists namely the Combined Merit List and Category-Wise Result for JCECE 2017. The list will be prepared by considering the marks secured by the candidates in various subjects. The combined evaluation of the scores of PCM and PCB group forms the basis of preparation of the merit list for the candidates appearing for this examination.
In case where two or more candidates have secured the same score in JCECE 2017 exam, the JCECE Board will determine a sequence of preference for Inter-se-merit of such candidates which is mentioned below:
JCECE Counselling will be held in the 2nd week of June, 2017. JCECE Counselling Process Fee can be paid through a Challan or IPO. The Counselling Fee for General/ OBC (I and II) is INR 300 while the counselling fee for SC/ST Category candidates is INR 250. If the candidate wishes to change the branch or institution then he/she must contact the Controller of the examination. The counselling process for the examination is carried out in two rounds- Round 1 & Round 2, which are as follows:
First Round of Counselling - The candidates are selected on the basis of rank obtained in JCECE 2017. The candidate will be allowed to make selections of the Institute and Course/Stream on Merit-Cum-Choice at his/her Merit Order only after obtaining all the required original certificates/documents.
Second Round of Counselling - The JCECE Board chooses to host the Second Round of Counselling in case there are any non-allotted seats even after the first Round of Counselling. The rules and criteria is similar to the First Round of Counselling.
