JCECE 2019 or Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam 2019 is a state-level entrance exam conducted for candidates seeking admission into various UG professional courses in the fields of Agriculture, Forestry, and BHMS etc. offered by colleges in the state of Jharkhand. Here are some important highlights of JCECE 2019 exam.

  • JCECE 2019 will be conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) tentatively in June 2019.
  • JCECE Application Form 2019 will be available from April 2019 at www.jceceb.nic.in

  • The exam is divided into 3 groups based on the course in which admissions are made. The three groups are PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) group, and PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) group.
  • PCM group is conducted for Engineering aspirants and PCB group can apply for agriculture, forestry, and medical course aspirants. PCMB group is conducted for candidates who want to apply for both engineering and medical courses.
  • Candidates can access JCECE 2019 Admit Card from May, 2019.
  • After the written exams of all the groups are over, a merit list of all the qualifying candidates based on their performance in the JCECE exam would be prepared.
  • Counselling-cum-admission process for that particular year would be conducted based on the merit list prepared for each group.

JCECE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

All interested aspirants for the exam must fulfil the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • He/ She must possess a domicile certificate from the state of Jharkhand.
  • Candidate must be 17 to 22 years old.
  • They must have passed senior secondary or equivalent exam from a recognized board with at least 45% (40% for reserved category candidates) in aggregate.
  • For animal husbandry course, candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
  • For Agriculture and Forestry courses, candidate must have passed 10+2 exams with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with Mathematics/Biology.
  • For Engineering Courses, Candidate must have passed 10+2 studied with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject.

JCECE 2019 Application Form

JCECE 2019 Application form will be available in online mode only in April, 2019. Candidates can apply for the exam by visiting the official website, i.e. www.jceceb.nic.in. Follow the given guidelines to apply for JCECE 2019.

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website of JCECEB, i.e. www.jceceb.nic.in.
  • Click on the link “JCECE 2019 Application Form”.
  • Fill the registration details like name, e-mail ID, mobile number, etc in the specified field.
  • Click on submit button.
  • A registration ID and password would be generated and sent to the registered E-mail address.

Application Process

  • Login to the portal using Registration ID and Password.
  • Fill in the details asked.
  • Select preference of course, exam center, etc.
  • Upload your signature and Photograph (as per dimensions provided in the notification) in .jpeg format.
  • Click on submit.
  • Pay the Application fee. The fee for each category on the basis of their course is given below.

JCECE 2019 Admit Card

JCECE 2019 Admit Card will be available in online mode only at www.jceceb.nic.in. It will be available for a stipulated period of time from the 2nd week of June 2019 tentatively.

JCECE 2019 Admit Card includes all details related to the candidate and examination like the name, roll number, examination date and timings, venue of the examination etc. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, contact the examination authority immediately and get it corrected.

Candidates can download JCECE 2019 Admit Card by following these steps:

  • Go to the official website of JCECEB.
  • Click on “Admit cards”.
  • Click on “JCECE 2019 Admit Card”
  • On the next page, fill in your credentials like date of birth, registration number and captcha code to log in
  • Admit card will appear on the screen
  • Download this admit card and take a printout of the same

Candidates appearing for JCECE 2019 during the time of registration/application can choose any one of the exam centers from the list given below.

JCECE 2019 Exam Pattern

JCECE 2019 exam will be conducted in offline mode i.e. it will be pen paper-based exam. Mentioned below are some of the major highlights of the exam.

  • A total of 150 objective type questions will be asked.
  • The question paper would be bilingual, i.e. in English and in Hindi.
  • The question paper will have questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.
  • 50 questions would be asked from each section.
  • There are two papers in JCECE exam.
  • Paper 1 will have Physics and Chemistry and is same for all groups
  • Paper 2 will have Mathematics or Biology depending on the course.
  • Paper 1 (Physics + Chemistry) would be for a duration 2 hours.
  • Paper 2 (Mathematics/Biology) would be for a duration 1 hours.
  • One mark is allotted for each question and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.

JCECE 2019 Syllabus

JCECE exam will be based on the syllabus of class XI and XII for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Biotechnology. The detailed syllabus for each subject is given below.

JCECE 2019 Result

JCECE 2019 Result will be declared in the last week of June 2019 in the official site of JCECE in the form of score card. Candidates can access their scorecard using their roll number. They must follow these steps to download their result.

  • Go to the official website of JCECEB, i.e. www.jceceb.nic.in
  • Click on the link “JCECE 2018 Results”.
  • Click on the button ‘View Scorecard’.
  • You would be directed to a login window.
  • Log in using your registered e-mail id (entered at the time of making application) and password.
  • Click on submit.
  • JCECEB 2019 scorecard would appear on the screen.
  • Download it and take a printout of the same for future reference.

Combined merit list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the exam after which they will be called for counselling process.

JCECE 2019 Cut Off would depend on various factors like:

JCECE 2019 Counselling

  • Candidates who have cleared the entrance test will be eligible to attend JCECE Counselling 2019.
  • He/ She will be called for interview round on the basis of his/ her rank in the combined merit list.
  • Candidates have to select their preferred colleges and course stream on the day of counselling.
  • They need to appear for the interview round based on the date and time given for the category.
  • Candidates will not receive any personal intimation regarding the Counselling Process.
  • Candidates have to report to the admitted college for completing admission formalities, after the allotment of seats during the counselling process.

If seats will remain vacant after the first counselling, the board will conduct the second counselling for candidates into vacant seats.
