JEECE 2017 Counselling Started, Check Details

    Counselling of JEECE 2017 has started on June 07, 2017. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has announced the details of the JEECE 2017 counselling.   

    As per the merit rank in JEECE 2017, the examination conducting authority will call candidates for interview and document verification. JEECEB will conduct Computerized Distributed Parallel Counselling for applicants whose names are enlisted in the merit list/wait list. All certificates and other relevant documents along with candidates’ identity are subject to verification during JEECE 2017 Counselling.

    • The process will be multi-parallel counselling and candidates must report to the designated center according to the schedule given above as per their JEECE ranks
    • Candidates will report on the prescribed time. They will not receive any letter separately regarding JEECE counselling 2017.
    • The process of seat allotment will be carried out until all the seats are filled.
    • Government specified Reservations will also be applicable on the seat allotment.
    • They must submit their original documents for verification along with a set of attested copies. The list of documents is specified below.
    • After verification, they are required to indicate their choices of courses and colleges as per the given seat matrix.
    • Candidates will be allotted seats as per their Merit Ranks.

    Candidates can take part in this round according to their rank range specify on the website on mentioned date. Candidates can see seat allotment letter in your account and report at the allotted institute on or before the last date.

    JEECE Tie Breaking 

    In case two or more candidates score the same marks, then the tie between them will be broken them will be broken and the inter se merit of such candidates will be determined according to the following:

    • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the Examination.
    • Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics in the Examination.
    • Candidates older in age.
    • As per the English alphabetical order of the first name.

    JEECE Counselling 2017

    Computerized online counselling would be conducted by the Board. The information about the same is given on this page. The counselling will be held in two rounds. The two of the rounds are described below:

    First Round of JEECE Counselling

    • After publication of the result, the candidates will be called for the first counselling as per the merit rank.
    • During the counselling, the candidates will be allowed to select the institute and course of their choice only after the scrutiny of all the required original certificates/ documents and satisfying their identity.

    Second Round of JEECE Counselling

    • After the first counselling, if seat remain vacant, the second round of counselling will be held.
    • In this counselling, candidates who have admitted through the first round of counselling may also participate to change their course/ stream and institute.

    JEECE Merit List 2017

    Allotment of branch and institute in private and government colleges in the state of Jharkhand will be done on the basis of merit-cum-choice of the candidates as well as the available vacant seats at the time of counselling.

    Qualified candidates of JCECE 2017 will be allotted seats in undergraduate and postgraduate programs by JCECEB on merit basis, reservation policies and other admission criteria.

    All certificates and relevant documents of candidates are subject to verification at the time of admissions.

    Applicants, who fail to produce the required certificates and relevant documents, will not be considered for JCECE 2017 seat allotment and/or admission.

    Candidates can also upgrade the allotted seat in case they are not satisfied with the present seat. If they don’t get allotment in the next round, then the previous round allotment will be considered as final.

    Documents required during JEECE 2017 Counselling

    Original copies and self-attested photocopies of these certificates/documents should be produced at the time of counselling -

    • Aadhaar Card
    • Admit Card of JEECE 2017, in case it is lost, candidates must file and submit an FIR.
    • Class X Admit Card, Mark Sheet, Passing Certificate (Original I Provisional)
    • Class XII / Intermediate Admit Card Mark Sheet, Passing Certificate (Original I Provisional)
    • Income Certificate issued by Sub Divisional Officer (S.D.O.) (Civil) / D.C. of Jharkhand State, for candidates claiming seat under TFW Quota
    • Caste certificate issued by S.D.O. (Civil) / D.C. of Jharkhand State (in case of taking the benefit of reservation)
    • Local Resident Certificate issued by S.D.O. (Civil) / D.C. of Jharkhand State
    • One passport size photograph (made from the same negative of photograph uploaded at the time of filling up the online application form)
    • Dependency certificate issued by competent Army Officer (for serving Army Personnel/Officer) or Dependency certificate issued by District Soldier Board (for Ex-servicemen), who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota
    • Discharge Certificate (if applicable) I Pension Book, who are claiming seat under SMQ Quota
