NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
AICTE has released the CMAT 2018 answer key and question paper. CMAT 2018 has been successfully conducted on January 20 in online mode. AICTE is expected to release CMAT Result in the first week of February. The scores will be accepted by AICTE-approved colleges in India. CMAT Cutoff for top colleges is expected to touch 98.
CMAT 2018 was of moderate difficulty level. The exam had a total of 100 objective questions. +4 marks were awarded for each correct answer, while -1 marks were deducted for an incorrect answer. Check CMAT Exam Pattern
It must be noted that AICTE does not release an official CMAT Answer Key. However, the top coaching institutes do release the question paper with solutions unofficially.
Candidates can use CMAT 2018 answer key to calculate their probable CMAT Score and analyse their chances of getting shortlisted for next rounds of admission.

Before we proceed to CMAT Paper Analysis, it is important to understand the paper pattern and structure. CMAT Exam has 100 objective questions from 4 section. Their break-up is given below:

The difficulty level for Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation section was of Moderate. Questions were asked from Arithmetic, Numbers, Geometry, Modern Math, Algebra and Data Interpretation.

Logical Reasoning section comprised of 25 questions of moderate difficulty level with some complex questions. Questions were from Data Sufficiency, Analogy, statement assumptions, Blood relations, family tree, Deductive Logic, Venn diagrams, statement assumptions, analogy, Syllogisms.
Comprehension has been a bit complex to answer. Tasks included reading Comprehension paragraphs and answer questions.
This section has been very difficult for the candidates as compared to CMAT previous year question papers. Questions ranged from different aspects of covering Indian polity, Current Affairs, etc.
AICTE doesn’t release an official CMAT Cutoff. However, it can be obtained from other sources like coaching institutes, colleges, etc.
