How to prepare CMAT 2019 in one month - Weekly Plan

Based on the CMAT 2019 Exam Pattern, one can observe that each of the 4 sections carry equal weightage. In other words, the CMAT Question paper will have 25 questions from each of the section. Hence, it becomes imperative for the candidates to give equal emphasis to all the sections during their last month preparation.

In order to equally focus on all the 4 sections throughout the month, we provide you a weekly preparation blueprint that you can follow for CMAT 2019

Week 1:

For all the 4 sections, pick out the topics that you should focus. If the core concepts are clear, the candidate will find easy to go through the topics of revision. Revise the fundamental concepts & rules related to the important topics.

The next step is to practice. In case, you feel that there is a dearth of time, you can directly go to the practice part. Due to constant practice, the concepts are retained by the memory. Also, you get exposure to different type of questions.

Vocabulary: Upgrade, Use, Revise is the only way to mastering vocabulary.

General Knowledge:  Divide GK into three areas:

  • Conventional available in books – Constantly revising the important books of GK that you have prepared before.
  • Current-Affairs (Trending news) - Constantly read the daily newspapers and note down the notable points. Go through the recent trending topics.
  • Business - Go through the GK related to the business world.

Arithmetic & Logical Reasoning: These sections are practice based.  Revise the zest of all the important topics and keep practicing. Revise the short cut methods and go through the formulas.

Week 2 & 3

Do not learn any new concepts. Focus more on taking mocks and practice tests. Keep practicing the important topics.

English: As for Reading Comprehension, focus on your reading per minute speed. Read more & more passages and try to comprehend it in a shorter period of time. Learn the usage of difficult words and note it down.

General Knowledge, Arithmetic & logical Reasoning: The same process is to be followed as did for Week 1.

Week 4 (till one day before CMAT 2019)

The candidates should follow the rule of relentless practice and revise. Revise the learned concepts once & for all and keep taking mocks and continue practicing sample papers. While doing so, do not forget to get all the doubts cleared if you happen to encounter any.

Day before CMAT 2019

Keep calm and sleep early. As for preparation tips, the decision whether to revise any topic or not on the last day
