Bikramjeet Singh appeared for CAT in 2014 and scored 85.81 percentile score. He participated in 4 GDPI rounds. He was offered admission by many institutes. He took admission in Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi. We interviewed him and he shares his experience with us. Ques. The institutes that offered you admissions?
Ans. I was offered admissions from UBS Chandigarh, LBSIM, FORE and IMT Nagpur.
Ans. Apart from CAT I also appeared for XAT, CMAT, NMAT, IIFT and SNAP.

Ans. They provide the whole material and CAT practice papers which help you to handle stress in exams and how to manage time and score better.
Ans. No, I didn’t work simultaneously, I took one year gap for the CAT preparation. In that time I worked really hard to cover each topic from CAT syllabus.
Ques. What is your five point rule to excel CAT 2017?
Ans. I practiced the sample papers through AIMCAT.
Ans. I joined TIME Jalandhar.
Ans. I am good with Quant, DA, and Reasoning but my English is average so I started reading English newspaper so that I can be effective in that particular area. I always try to do fewer questions in English with high accuracy.
Ans. I only preferred the Time website. They provide good practice materials.
Ques. Discuss your strategy for the Quantitative Aptitude section.
Ans. It is the most scoring area and takes more time. So start solving quant section first.
Ans. The material provided by Time was so good that I didn’t require any book.
Ans. Data interpretation is the simple one and it has lots of calculations so prefer to do it after completing quant section.
Ans. I just practiced the material provided by Time.
Ans. Reasoning can be done after completing quant and DI section.
Ans. I only followed the study material provided by the Time Institute and didn’t refer any text book.
Ans. You can do this section only after a lot of practice. So do it in last because you just have to read it to solve it.

Ans. Follow any good book which can help you in clearing concepts and score good marks
Ans. Just work hard and flourish those areas where you are weak. So work hard.
