CAT is a national level management entrance exam held for admission to MBA and PGDM programs. CAT 2018 will be conducted on November 25, 2018. The registration for same has been started from August 8, 2018, candidates having bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks can apply on the official website of the exam. The registration fee for general candidates is INR 1900 while for reserved category candidates are INR 900.
A student’s life in IIM Bangalore starts from getting up early in the morning and lectures commencing at sharp 8.00 A.M. In case, you’re the last person to enter the class, you’ll be the first one picked out for case study questions. Usually lasting for a total duration of 75 minutes, the class gets involved in an interestingly heated discussion.
Once the lecture is concluded, it’s time when students can grab some breakfast to remain energetic and enthusiastic for the following two lectures. After having breakfast, students can head towards the lecture hall. The classes end at 1:15 P.M. after which one can have their lunch at mess.

The institute is proud to conduct International fests and it is a great opportunity for one to be a part, rather a helping hand. This will not only help in the proper organization of the event but add to your brainstorming. Interested students may indulge in same whereas others can work, have a nap, play sports and be a part of other such activities.
After 7 PM, you may be found working again on the projects with approaching deadlines and have your dinner. After the dinner, you can see a group of students sitting over a table with all their laptops and materials. At this time brainstorming session begins with browsing the internet, floating primary surveys, interpreting the results etc.
Until12:30 AM, the scenario remains persistent. Now, this is the time when students need some more refreshments. They can go to the night canteen or park and can eat. Students should already decide the type of food they want or if they want a strong coffee.
Around 1:00 AM – 2:30 AM, the groups disperse with tasks being divided among the members till next morning. Those who didn’t have any meetings can spend their time on activities like watching a movie, playing, or going to gym or ones can sleep.
Therefore, one can easily comprehend from the above information that life at IIMs is hectic and fun at the same time. It may be different to different people. You just do not study well but excel in other diverse activities at the campuses which are recurring. Set your own priorities and step ahead!
