    Xavier University CAT 2019 Selection Process

    Xavier University (XUB) is a UGC approved private University in Bhubaneshwar offering UG, PG and Doctoral programs in its constituent colleges and departments. Under the Faculty of Management, XUB, there several constituent colleges that offer postgraduate programs in management.  The selection process for the above-listed programs involves entrance tests like CAT/XAT/GMAT/X-GMT, Written Aptitude Test, and Personal Interview.

    CAT is a national level management entrance exam, conducted by one of the IIM’s on a rotational basis for admission to MBA and PGDM programs. Candidates having bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for CAT. IIM Calcutta has been released the official notification for CAT 2019, this year CAT is scheduled for November 24, 2019.

    The eligibility criteria and the selection process for each program are tabulated below:

    Note:

    • Final year degree students whose final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree are expected to be complete by mid-June are also eligible to apply.
    • Applicants applying with Admission Test scores should ensure that their scores are valid.
    • Applicants with GMAT scores should have at least 550 scores.
    • Applicants, if not opting for X-GMT, are compulsorily required to register for CAT /XAT /GMAT /NMAT.
    • Applicants not option for X-GMT, and keen to pursue XUB programs, have to apply online for admission into the desired program through https://xub.edu.in/

    To sum up the selection process of XUB:

    1. Review Eligibility Criteria and apply online to XUB.
    2. Appear for WAT (on the basis of admission test scores) followed by PI (based on WAT performance)
    3. Final selection to made considering admission test score, academic record, relevant work experience, and performance in WAT and PI.

    Xavier University 2019 Expected Cut-off

    XUB will use sectional as well as total cut-off scores to shortlist candidates for the WAT-PI rounds. Please note that only for residents of Odisha, separate sets of cut-off scores of the admission tests may be used. The WAT-PI rounds are held in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. The final selection is made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the admission test, WAT-PI rounds as well as past academic record and relevant work experience.

    Candidates who qualify the selection process are informed via email by April while the program starts by mid-June.
