NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST

MAT 2017 Analysis (December 16), Question Paper, Answer Key & Cutoff

MAT December 2017 has been successfully conducted on December 16 in online mode. The offline paper was conducted on December 10. The answer key for MAT 2017 has been released by some of the top coaching institutes, along with the exam analysis. AIMA (All India Management Association), the conducting authority of MAT, will declare the official answer keys soon, at aima.in.

With the help of MAT answer key, applicants can predict their expected MAT Result. It will contain all the answers to the questions asked in the exam. By calculating the scores, test takers can get an idea about their chances of getting admission into top MAT colleges.

As per MAT 2017 analysis, the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult. There were 200 questions from 5 sections (Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills and Indian & Global Environment). Check  MAT Exam Pattern

How to Check MAT Answer Key 2017?

MAT Answer Key can be checked through online mode only by visiting the official website. Answer key will help students to estimate their scores in the entrance exam. It will be available in PDF format. Separate answer keys will be released for five different subjects such as Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, and Indian & Global Environment.

Following steps help candidates to check the MAT answer key:

  1. Visit the official website of AIMA i.e. www.aima.in
  2. Enter the credentials such as Application ID and Password
  3. Click on the Submit button

After clicking on the button, the answer key will be displayed on the screen. Students can download and take the printout of the answer key for future reference. They can cross check the answers and calculate their scores with the help of using following MAT marking scheme:

  • For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong answers

Challenging MAT Answer Key 

After cross-checking the scores, students can challenge the answer key if they find any discrepancy. All the challenges against the answer key raised by the candidates will be sent to the exam board committees constituted by AIMA.

MAT December Paper Analysis 2017

As compared to the previous year, this year, the difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult. The questions in the paper were asked from the subjects such as Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, and Indian & Global Environment.

MAT Exam is conducted four times in a year that’s why paper analysis of each month is different. Following is the detailed explanation of MAT Paper Analysis:

  • Questions asked in the Intelligent and Critical Reasoning section is based on the Analytical Thinking and Critical thinking
  • Language Comprehension has questions from Reading Comprehension and from Verbal Ability
  • Mathematical skills had questions from Arithmetic, Permutation and Combinations, Probability, Heights and Distance
  • Indian and Global Environment questions were from Business, Current undertakings, Person and their related fields.

MAT Cut off 2017

MAT Cut off marks can be checked through online mode only. It will be announced by AIMA in January 2018.MAT Cutoff is the minimum marks that students have to score in order to clear the examination. Students who scored the minimum required cut off will be called for the various selection rounds i.e. Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test.

Cut off will be decided on the basis of various following factors such as:

  • Total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • Difficulty level of the examination
  • Reservation norms
