MAT Cut off 2018 for Christ University Bangalore

Nearly 600 B-Schools in India accept MAT Scores. One of which is the very prestigious Christ University. For its management courses, it accepts the scores of CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/GMAT, along with MAT. The next session of MAT 2018 is scheduled on September 2 (offline) and 15 (online). AIMA will declare MAT result by the last week of September 2018.

Post this, the minimum cutoff marks required by each college will be announced. You can easily check the cutoff by visiting their respective websites.

For getting admission in Christ University, students who score more than the set MAT cut off, that are expected to be around 600, will be further called for group discussion and personal interview. After clearing the selection rounds, students will be called for MAT Counselling.


Expected MAT Cut off 2018 for Christ University

Christ University Eligibility Criteria

It is mandatory for the students to fulfill the eligibility criteria for getting admission in the university. Following is the detailed explanation of Christ university eligibility criteria for admission:

  • Students must pass undergraduate examinations with 50% or above marks from recognized university/ institute.
  • Those who are studying in final year must have score 50% or above in all semesters conducted so far.
  • Students clearing the XAT/ CAT/ CMAT examination with 70 percentile or above are eligible for admission.

Or

  • Applicants have to score 600 or more than that in MAT Exam

Or

  • Students who have scored 450 or above in GMAT are eligible for admission

Christ University Selection Procedure

Student’s selection is calculated on the basis of their academic performance in class 10, class 12, an undergraduate degree, and group discussion, micro presentation, written Assessment, Verbal Assessment and Personal Interview.

  1. Group Discussion/ Micro Presentation
  • For each group, 35 minutes will be given for the group discussion
  • Per student in a group, 90 seconds will be given for micro presentation
  1. Written Assessment
  • In this section, students will be asked to write on a topic for not more than one A4 sheet. Total time given to complete this task is 10 minutes.
  1. Verbal Assessment and Personal Interview
  • Verbal Assessment and Personal Interview for each candidate will be done by an expert panel
  • Verbal assessment will be conducted during personal interview
  1. Academic Performance
  • Student’s academic performance in class 10, class 12 and degree will be assessed

Things to Keep in Mind During Selection Rounds

Following are some important instructions that must be followed before taking part in the selection process:

  • For appearing in the selection process, students must come at least 30 minutes prior to the time written on the selection process admit card.
  • Any kind of electronic gadgets is not allowed into the selection process venue.
  • Do carry your MAT Admit Card. It can be downloaded from the official website of AIMA. Candidates cannot take part in the selection process without admit card.
  • Students who are not appearing in the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.
  • Any kind of request in a change of selection process date, time and centre will not be entertained.
  • Those who are not reaching the venue at the allotted time and date will not be allowed to take part in the selection process and their application fee is also non-refundable.
  • Selection process will be done at the following venue:
  1. Bengaluru
  2. NCR (National Capital Region-Ghaziabad) & Kolkata
