NMAT Scores Valid Now for International MBA Programs, Register Now!

Candidates, who are appearing for NMAT for their MBA admission this year, have an extra reason to cheer about. NMAT by GMAC, which is the most candidate-friendly management entrance test in India, is now going to be accepted for International MBA courses also. Yes, you heard it right!

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the regulating body of NMAT has announced that the exam scores will now be accepted for MBA courses abroad as well. NMAT, which is currently accepted in around 20 business schools in India, has become the premier test for business schools in South Africa and Philippines as well.

“We are extremely happy to announce that NMAT by GMAC is going international this year. From this year onwards, aspirants can choose schools from India, South Africa and Philippines that accept NMAT by GMAC scores. The acceptance of NMAT scores showcases the fact that this exam is widely recognized by business schools in emerging markets. We are confident that unique features of the exam like multiple login methods, increased access along with NMAT by GMAC official prep, we would be able to connect talent with right opportunity. To help ease the anxiety of candidates and build their confidence, we are introducing All India FREE Mock Exam for candidates in September 2018,” said Vikram Shah, Director, Product Management at GMAC.

The national level examination has been gaining considerable popularity in India and had seen a 7% growth in registrations last year. NMAT witnessed close to 89 thousand registrations in 2017, as compared to around 86 thousand in 2016. Plus, the launch of official prep tools, and increase in number of national and international centers has also helped in increasing the reach of the exam.

Commenting on the growth scenario of NMAT by GMAC, Gaurav Srivastava, Regional Director, South Asia, GMAC said,” We are proud to have completed 3 years of significant increase in the registrations. The increase in registrations on year-on-year basis is a proof that NMAT by GMAC has been a representation of quality-enabling test takers to access graduate management education, along with building a career of choice and providing business schools the access to top quality talent. This year is a special one for us as NMAT by GMAC goes international this year. Business Schools of some emerging markets will now have access to one of the most diverse test taking pool, with a significant proportion of non-engineers and women taking the exam.”

With this change, NMAT by GMAC is going to be accepted by 6 business schools of South Africa. These business schools include Gordon Institute of Business Science, Milpark Business Schools, North West University, Rhodes Business School, University of South Africa Graduate Schools of Business Leadership and Wits Business School.

In Philippines, 4 business schools will be accepting NMAT by GMAC scores from this year. These are Asian Institute of Management, Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Virata School of Business (University of the Philippines) and College of Business Administration & Accountancy (Dela Salle University).

In India, some popular business schools like SVKM’s NMIMS (Multiple Locations), SDA Bocconi Asia Center, Xavier University Bhubaneshwar, ICFAI Business Schools along with many other already accept NMAT by GMAC scores.

About NMAT Exam

NMAT by GMAC is an annual management entrance test that is conducted by GMAC. The exam provides various candidate friendly features like 75 day long testing window, 3 retesting options, 58 centers in India, Free All India Mock Test and many others. The exam has 3 sections, which are Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Reasoning skills. Read more about NMAT Exam Pattern

The testing window for NMAT by GMAC this year is starting from October 4 and ends on December 17. The registrations for the exam have started on July 3, 2018 and will continue till October 3, 2018. Candidates aspiring of securing a seat through NMAT shall quickly book their slots and start appearing for NMAT by GMAC.
