Ans. Yes, I took coaching classes for IIT-JEE in my 11th and 12th class. These classes helped me a lot in sharpening my skills and brushing my mind with innovative ideas and creative thinking. Without these classes, I would have not reached platform like BITS.

Ans. My strong areas include Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and weak zones were Quantum Physics and Co-ordinate Geometry. I prepared it from my classroom notes by revising it weekly and practicing problems from other sources.
Ans. I took Brilliant Tutorial mock papers. This helped me a lot in scoring my All India percentile.
Ans. I would suggest that before 3 months, you should go for thorough revision of whatever you have learnt because this is an essential element before writing exams like BITSAT. Also one can practice mock BITSAT papers and know the question paper type and thus improve on itself.
Ans. Physics is quite logical and derivative. One should understand the formulas and methods by taking help of derivations. Also time to time revision is necessary to hold it in mind. NCERT books of 11th and 12th class, H.C. Verma Volume 1 &2, Halliday, Resnick book for physics are also good.

Ans. Chemistry is easy. In Organic, try to understand the reactions and their types. In physical, remember formulas, their applications and sufficient practice. In inorganic, you need to mug all the stuff so that you can score well-only this strategy will work. Books such as J.D.Lee for Inorganic, NCERT for physical and organic chemistry, O.P. Tandon for physical chemistry and Solomon’s Organic chemistry may prove helpful.
Ans. English is also an important area where you can score well. For this you need to master Grammar portion. I prepared it from previous grammar books and by solving mock tests.

Ans. For this section, basic common sense is required. You need to practice R.S. Agrawal's verbal and non verbal reasoning.
Ans. For Mathematics, you need to practice a lot. Revise all formulas and short tricks frequently because they are huge in number. Do not practice orally, always use pen and paper for this. Books such as S.L. Loney's co-ordinate and trigonometry book is very good. Arihant publication book can help you with algebra and calculus.
Ans. I did less practice for mathematics. I forgot some of the formulas in chemistry. I did not go through mock test papers.
