Ans. Yes, I took coaching classes. Coaching classes played a crucial role in my preparation. The teachers I had and the study material we used to get was perfect.

Ans. I was weak at Mathematics and Physics. For mathematics I started practicing Arihant book a lot. For physics I used HC Verma to practice. I was strong at chemistry.
Ans. I Used the Arihant BITSAT book as a bank of problems for solving. Be sure that when you solve the questions in the Arihant book, you should also evaluate your results minutely and revise the topics you’re weak in. Also solve mock tests – they help a lot. They will help you only when you’ve studied properly.

Ans. The mock tests are comparatively of the same toughness level as the final BITSAT exam, maybe just a little bit tougher. The example test given on the BITS website is just a sample and is very easy. In 3 months, I would suggest making a study plan and sincerely sticking to it. Concentrate on the topics in which you’re weak in and solve problems. Make sure that you understand where you’re going wrong and avoid silly mistakes. Start solving mock BITSAT tests and evaluate yourself. Concentrate on areas where you’re going wrong and revisit those concepts and problems.

Ans. In physics most of the questions are used to be formula based and rest were based on the basic concepts. I referred HC Verma. Mechanics was okay. For Tension and Pulley based questions from Newton Law Motion and Simple Kinematics, just go through the Arihant papers to get a rough idea. You need to find easy questions there.
Ans. Physical chemistry was easy and so was organic. Inorganic was a memorizing stuff but easy if one does it properly. I strictly followed NCERT. In Organic Chemistry you have to memorize the conversions. I used OP Tondon book. For Inorganic, I mostly studied from NCERT but from the part of the text that is less frequented.

Ans. English was easy except the antonyms and synonyms section, except those, it was just of school level. English questions were pretty basic and if you know your grammar well you shouldn’t really have any problem with it. I neither followed any book for English, nor did I prepare for it.
Ans. LR was really very easy. I didn’t do anything special for it.
Ans. I only followed NCERT Books.
Ans. My score in BITSAT was good though my JEE paper went bad. So I would like to go back in time and attempt that paper proper
