OJEE 2018 Lateral Entry Syllabus

OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) is a state level exam conducted by Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Board. The registration is held via online mode. The Registration for OJEE 2018 concluded on March 27, 2018. OJEE 2018 Lateral entry exam is scheduled on May 13, 2018 in offline (Pen and paper based) mode only with each question holding 4 marks.

OJEE 2018 Lateral Entry Syllabus differs with each streams. The topics asked in OJEE are of graduation level. The Lateral Entry exam of OJEE is scheduled on May 13, 2018, The exam is entrance for admission in second semester of Engineering, Pharmacy, MCA, and Diploma courses.

Candidates who have successfully submitted their OJEE 2018 Application form can download their admit card on April 20, 2018 (Onwards) from the official website of OJEE. Enter registration number and date of birth to download your OJEE Admit Card. It will carry candidate’s personal details, exam date and time, examination hall, and other. This is very important document required to sit for exam. Else, they cannot enter at exam center.

OJEE 2018 Exam Pattern

OJEE 2018 lateral entry exam is scheduled on May 13, 2018 in multiple shifts and slots. The exam is scheduled in offline mode. Candidates have to complete their exam in the duration of 2 hours. The Question paper will carry 120 questions in English only. All the questions will be in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) format. 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

All the questions will be based on computer. To qualify this section applicants should have good knowledge of computer languages, software and hardware as well. OJEE Lateral Entry Syllabus for Pharmacy

The syllabus of Pharmacy is divided into 2 parts – Part I and Part II. Both sections carry equal weightage of questions.  Here, we are providing the syllabus of diploma in pharmacy as mentioned below:

Diploma in Pharmacy Part – 1 (30 Questions)

Pharmacy is the part of science. It is the science and technique of preparing and dispensing drugs. It is a health profession that links health sciences with chemical sciences and aims to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. Candidates have to attempt 30 MCQ questions from pharmacy part – 1. The level of this section is moderate. Here are the 6 sub topics of pharmacy part – 1. The important topics of pharmacy part I is Human anatomy and physiology, Pharmaceutical chemistry I.


Diploma in Pharmacy part – II (30 Questions)

 Pharmacy part – II contain equal weightage to part – I. Both sections carry 30 MCQ questions. The pharmacy is all about health science and chemical science. It has 6 sub topics. There are few important topics of pharmacy part – II i.e. Drugs store and business management, Pharmaceutical chemistry II, Toxicology. Applicants are advised to prepare important topics first.
