STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
OJEE 2017 enables the candidates to seek admissions to MBA program offered by various institutes in Odisha. The application form for OJEE 2017 will be available online from February 26, 2017. The application fee for OJEE MBA 2017 for all categories is INR 1000 to be paid in either online or offline mode.
The Admit Card for OJEE 2017 will be available online from April 20, 2017 onwards. OJEE MBA is scheduled on May 08, 2017 in offline mode. Candidates have to solve 120 objective questions in 2 hours. The questions asked are in English language.
The OJEE exam for MBA admissions contains 5 sections. The article below discusses the preparation strategies for each subject.
There will be 40 questions that will be asked from Verbal Reasoning section. The questions will test reasoning abilities of candidates to examine direct sense, blood relations, coding and decoding, data arrangement, etc.
OJEE MBA 2017 Verbal Reasoning section will comprise of 40 MCQs. Candidates will be asked to answer questions from the following topics:

To attempt Verbal Reasoning section, candidate must be sound in analyzing and evaluating relationship among words, concepts and sentences. Verbal reasoning section will require candidate to focus on concepts such as comprehension of passages, sentence/text completion, grammar and vocabulary, etc.
Reading Comprehension: This section will consist of passage of four to five lines, which will have to be comprehended and answer the questions accordingly. Candidate will have focus on understanding the meaning of words, sentences and the whole written text given in the question paper.
Text Completion: To complete the sentences and given texts, candidates must have good observation skills. Comprehension and analysis will be required to complete the given frame of sentences or text.
Grammar: Candidate must prepare for grammar, vocabulary and other concepts by practicing sample papers as well as mock papers. Reading newspapers, magazines, etc. will be helpful sources of enriching grammatical knowledge.
The second subject of OJEE MBA 2017 is Analytical Reasoning. The section will test the quantitative ability of analyzing the arguments presented by the author. 40 questions will be asked, out of 120 questions, from this subject.
Similar to Verbal Reasoning section of OJEE 2017, candidate will have 40 MCQs to answer from Analytical Reasoning section. Topics covered in this section are given below:

Analytical Reasoning section is a notch higher than verbal ability section. Candidate must strengthen all the topics included in this section by devoting equal time to each of them.
General Knowledge section will test candidate’s general awareness and knowledge of current happenings around the world. There will be 10 questions from this section. Candidates with sound general and static knowledge will easily attempt this section and fetch decent score.
OJEE MBA 2017 General Knowledge section will comprise of 10 MCQs. Candidates will have to prepare from topics such as:

OJEE 2017 Comprehension will consist of 20 questions which will be based on the passages/paragraphs given for comprehension. Candidate will have to mark correct answer on the basis of the text provided, after carefully reading it and comprehending the meaning it tries to deliver.
To attempt this section, it is important to be careful while reading the passages given. The questions will be entirely based upon the passage/paragraph so it is necessary to go through them more than once to analyze it properly.
The strategy that can be applied to fetch marks in this section is to be calm and stay concentrated. Reading newspapers and journals will help the candidate to improve speed while solving sample papers and mock tests will enhance comprehensive abilities of the candidate.
OJEE 2017 Computer and Business Fundamentals section is based on computer knowledge and business scenario. Candidates who are interested to take admission in MBA+MCA course shall attempt this section.
This section will consist of 10 MCQs which will be asked from the following topics:

The candidates will have to prepare all the topics included in this section intensively. It is important to have computer knowledge to attempt this section. Along with computer skills, business fundamentals will also be required.
OJEE MBA 2017 is an offline objective type exam. There will be 5 sections in OJEE MBA 2017 test namely, Verbal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Comprehension and Computer and Business Fundamentals.
The exam will be conducted for 2 hours duration. Candidates will be awarded with 4 marks for correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted if answered wrongly. OJEE MBA 2017 exam pattern is given below:
