Anupam Chand appeared for OJEE in the year 2014. He secured 13th position as his All India Rank. He here shares his success story in this interview. He focuses on the importance of higher education and also reminds the students that it must not be ignored for the entrance examination. He also tells us how he could manage his school and preparing for OJEE the same time. He took admission in Nalanda Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. Ans. 1

Ques. How did you manage OJEE Preparation along with your Class 12th exam?

Ans. First of all I was pursuing my 12th from Range School, Chandipur, Balasore (A CBSE PATTERN SCHOOL) so I was preparing for my 12th board exam along with the OJEE syllabus pattern so that was very beneficial for my board exam along with the OJEE. CBSE covers most of the syllabus in OJEE.

Ques. What were your Strong and Weak areas? How did you prepare and what special efforts did you put for improving them?

Ans. Frankly speaking, I was weak in Mathematics stream. At first I was very nervous facing a single question but later on with the help of my mathematics lecturer I improved a lot and now I don't have any problems. I was good in Chemistry and also in Physics. But that does not mean that I didn’t put as much efforts in them as Mathematics. In fact, strong areas are ones advantages. Candidates appearing for any entrance exams must be confident about their strong areas and try to attempt it with a perfect strike rate.

Ques. What mock papers did you take?     

Ans. I took MTG's Monthly Edition Magazines of Mathematics, Chemistry & Physics and also I was solving the previous years JEE Main, OJEE and many more questions which helped a lot.

Ans. Try These books:
