NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
AILET 2017 was successfully conducted on May 07, 2017 by NLU. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult, however, the paper was a bit lengthy. The exam was held in offline mode (pen and paper based) at the various exam centers. The official answer key will be released by NLU at nludelhi.ac.in.
The paper consists of 150 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) form English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, and Elementary Mathematics. Applicants had to attempt all the questions in the duration of 1 hour 30 minutes only. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer. AILET 2017 is conducted for admission in BA. LLB program offered by National Law University, Delhi. The exam is conducted every in offline mode in the month of May. AILET 2017 Result is expected to be released on May 18, 2017.

Step 1: Visit the official website of NLU Delhi i.e. nludelhi.ac.in/
Step 2: Go to the notification tab and click on the link answer key
Step 3: Enter your Roll number and Date of Birth
Step 4: The PDF file will open for answer key. Candidates can download the answer key for its future reference.
AILET 2017 was successfully conducted on May 07, 2017. The question paper consisted of 150 questions, all the questions were in MCQ form (Multiple Choice Questions). Applicants had to attempt all the questions in the duration of 1 hour 30 minutes. The paper was divided into five sections i.e. English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, and Elementary Mathematics. Every section carried equal weightage of questions except Elementary mathematics. Mathematics carries lowest weightage in the examination.
AILET 2017 Paper consists of 150 objective type questions form English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, and Elementary Mathematics. Each subject carries equal number of questions in the examination. The duration of the exam is one hour 30 minutes (90 Minutes). To complete the test in given time, candidate must divide the total time according to the number of sections in the exam. One mark will be awarded for every correct response. Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks to qualify AILET 2017 exam. The cut off marks is different for each category (GEN/ SC/ ST/ OBC). The questions were asked from various topics including Cloze Test, Antonyms, Word Meaning and Para Jumbles. Also Focus upon Vocabulary and Grammar was laid. There were 11 questions in the FIB (Fill in the Blanks) part. There were two questions based on antonyms, three questions on word meaning. There was one set on Para Jumbles with 3 questions. There were questions based on grammar of the Match the following Type. The section may be perceived as a little lengthy compared to the past year's paper and the level of this section was moderate.
The question paper consists of 35 questions from general knowledge section. 22 questions were based on Current Affairs, out of which, most of the questions were from the second half of 2016. Current affairs included questions on Nobel prize in Economics, GSAT-18, ROSS robot, Software Robotics by India bank, Miss. International 2016, HDI, International Happiness Day, Medals by India in Special Olympics. Overall according to the subject expert the level of this section was easy.
The questions of this section were based on legal knowledge. However, some questions like John Doe and Public Trust Doctrine must have surprised everyone. This section carried total 35 questions, 19 questions were based on Legal Knowledge. There were 7 questions which were the reasoning and assertion type. The level of this section was moderate.
The questions of this section were asked from Arrangement, Blood Relations, Directions, etc. The Logical Reasoning part saw questions on Odd One Out, Series, two sets on arrangements - one on team formation and other one on seating arrangement. There were also 5 short passages and questions that were based on the. Overall the level of this section was moderate.
Applicants had to attempt 10 questions from mathematics section. According to subject expert the level of this section was quite easy. The questions were based on Arithmetic, which included Average, Time, Speed and Distance, Time and Work. Overall, a very easy section with score of 6-7 easily attainable.
After the successfully commencement of AILET 2017 exam on May 07, 2017, National Law University Delhi will determine AILET 2017 Cut off on May 18 for admissions to five year integrated and postgraduate law programs. Cut off is the minimum marks required to be shortlisted for admission in BA. LLB program at NLU Delhi. After the declaration of AILET 2017 Result, shortlisted candidates on the basis of their performance in written test will be called for counselling process which will be conducted by NLU Delhi.
