AILET 2019 Result

AILET 2019 Result will be released by the National Law University, Delhi tentatively in the last week of May 2019. Candidates who appear for AILET 2019 exam can check their AILET Result on the official university website, i.e. www.nludelhi.ac.in. To access the scorecard, candidates can enter their name and roll number and download it in PDF format.

AILET 2019 Scorecard will comprise AIR (All India Rank) of the candidate and subject-wise marks. AILET Result for various courses like BA LLB, LLM and PhD are published as per the candidate’s category (General, SC, ST, OBC, Kashmiri Migrants and PwD). AILET Merit List will also be published along with the results. After the results are declared, NLU will send call letters for the first round of admission.

AILET 2019 exam is a national level exam conducted once a year in the offline mode. It provides admission to candidates in various undergraduate and post-graduate programs offered at NLU. Aspirants must check all important information relating to AILET 2019 Result in this article.

How to Check AILET 2019 Result?

Candidates can check AILET 2019 Result from the official website of NLU. The result will be published in pdf format category-wise that includes: General, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Kashmiri migrants and Person with Disabilities. To check AILET Result, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official website of NLU, i.e. www.nludelhi.ac.in
  2. Click on ‘AILET 2019’
  3. Then, click on ‘AILET 2019 Result’
  4. Enter the required details in the fields
  5. Click on ‘Submit’
  6. AILET 2019 Result will be displayed on the screen
  7. Download the pdf and take a print out

Details Mentioned on AILET Scorecard 2019

Candidates who qualify AILET 2019 exam will be able to download their AILET 2019 Scorecard from the website of NLU, Delhi. The details mentioned in the scorecard include:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Candidate’s roll number
  • Section-wise score for each subject.

At the time of AILET 2019 Counseling, candidates are required to produce the scorecard.


AILET 2019 Cut Off

Cut Off are the minimum marks required to qualify for the selection process. On an average, AILET Cut Off was 100 was General category. As per the previous trends, the minimum qualifying score for Schedule Caste was 80 and Schedule Tribe between 70 and 80. While Persons with Disabilities qualified with a score over 80.

Cut offs for AILET 2019 Result is calculated on the basis of the following parameters:

  1. Number of students registered for exam
  2. Number of students who appeared for the exam
  3. Number of students who qualified for the exam
  4. Number of students on the merit list

AILET 2019 Tie-breaker

Like any other entrance exam, there is always a possibility that more than one student have the same score. In such cases, NLU has defined a few standards to act as a tie-breaker in the AILET 2019 result that are as follows:

  • If two or more candidates receive the same percentile, then merit will be determined based on class 12 marks or equivalent exam.
  • If class 12 marks or equivalent exam are the same, then the class 10 marks will be taken into consideration.
  • If there is still a tie, then the candidate who is older will be given preference for admission.

Therefore, academic merit is important during tie-breaking.

AILET 2019 Counseling

AILET Counseling will be conducted in July 2019. Eligible candidates must pay the counseling fee by the last week of July 2019. When the admission procedure is over, no new enrolments will be made.

Once the results are declared, NLU will send out call letters to students to take part in AILET Counseling. Once AILET Counseling is wrapped up, candidates can participate in Spot Counseling for vacant seats. Post counseling, interviews will be conducted.

Required Documents for AILET Counseling

The documents that candidates are required to carry during the counseling session include:

  • Original Counselling letter along with a photocopy
  • Original Admit Card along with a photocopy
  • Refer to guidelines mentioned in AILET prospectus and carry a bank draft
  • Original class 12 and 10 mark sheets along with two photocopies each
  • Hall ticket or rank card provided
  • Scorecard and copy
  • Original degree or provisional certificate
  • Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC) or PwD certificate duly signed by the authorities

Candidates who get selected will have to appear for an interview round for final admission to the law university. For the UG Program, total 83 seats is offered on the basis of merit. For LLM Program, total 35 seats are available and the admissions will be done on the basis of AILET Rank.
