KMAT Admit Card Released for September Exam

    KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) released the admit card for its September exam session. Candidates can now download the admit card, online by visiting the official website. The exam is scheduled to take place on September 11, 2016.

    Management aspirants who wants to pursue, MBA/PGDM and who has registered for KMAT exam, must download the admit card as it acts as a proof and enables a candidate to enter in the examination room to attempt KMAT exam. Candidates won't be allowed to enter the examination hall without the KMAT admit card.

    KMAT exam is conducted four times in a year, which helps the candidates for saving an extra year spent in preparation. KMAT Results will be declared on September 20th, 2016. KMAT will comprise of 120 questions in total and the exam will be conducted in traditional pen & paper based mode. The paper is divided in three sections, namely:

    1. Verbal Ability

    2. Quantitative Ability

    3. Logical Reasoning

    Steps to Download KMAT Admit Card

    Admit card carries importance in a sense that it acts as a proof of entrance and your identity, so that you can enter the examination hall to attempt KMAT exam. Follow the below mentioned steps to download KMAT admit card, which is mandatory to carry while going for an exam.


    • First, candidate needs to log on to the official website of KMAT.
    • Next, applicant will see the home page.
    • A link will be seen ‘click here to download the admit card’. Go to that link.
    • Then candidate is required to enter application number
    • Click on the login button.
    • After logging in, candidate will see their admit card
    • Lastly, download the admit card and also take the print out to carry to the exam.

    KMAT Admit Card Important Points

    A candidate must take note of following points related to admit card, which he/she must not forget as to stand eligible to appear for exam:

    1. A candidate must ensure that he/she obtains the admit card online by downloading it as it won't be sent via e-mail or post to any aspirants.
    2. An aspirant must ensure that his/her photograph is affixed on the admit card and candidate is required to carry one valid original ID proof and a single photocopy for the same.
    3. Candidate is advised to keep his/her admit card till the admission process gets over.

    Errors in KMAT Hall Ticket

    KMAT aspirants are clearly instructed to check all the details beforehand and if any errors are encountered, it must be reported to the below mentioned authority. Details mentioned on the Admit card of KMAT should be clear and accurate. No Admit Card in mutilated state or with deviation in the information provided during Registration process will be accepted at any stage of KMAT.  Candidates should check and verify all the information mentioned on KMAT admit card.     The total number of questions asked in KMAT (MBA/MCA/PGDM) 2016 is 120 divided among 4 sections viz. Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Science. There is no negative marking. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. No marks will be deducted for questions not attempted. Questions asked in KMAT is of moderate level and Secondary standard.

    KMAT 2016 Results

    KMAT results for the session of September exam will be out on September 20th, 2016. Candidates who are eagerly waiting for KMAT results can check the result by visiting the official website. Below are the steps mentioned which are to be followed for checking the result:

    • Candidate must login to their account after visiting the official website of KMAT. The personalized account credentials are provided to every candidate whose application was accepted during the application process.
    • The second step requires the candidate to on the “Result” tab.
    • A dialog box will appear, candidates must fill their date of birth and roll number and then click on submit.
    • The result will then appear on their screen and can be downloaded in the PDF form. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the KMAT score card.

    When the KMAT results get declared, KMAT counselling process begins. The candidates have to follow the selection cum counselling process for the final admission in colleges.
