ATMA 2018 Analysis, Question Paper, Answer Key & Cut Off

ATMA 2018 was successfully held on January 14, 2018. The exam is being conducted successfully every year since 2000 and the scores are used in admissions process as a dependable predictor of aspirant’s performance in postgraduate management programs. Cut off (category and course wise) will release on the official website of each of the participating institutes. Check ATMA Expected Cut off

  • QA was dominated by questions on Arithmetic. The level of difficulty was easy-moderate. Check ATMA Paper Analysis (Detailed)
  • There were two sets with total 6 questions on Data Interpretation, one in each section.  
  • There was 1 Reading Comprehension passage with 6 questions (three of them were vocabulary-based and all were simple).
  • Selection will be done on the basis of merit prepared after considering overall performance of candidate. Check ATMA Selection Process
  • There are 89 participating institutes, whereas over 200 institutes accept ATMA scores for admissions to MBA, PGDM and MCA. 
  • The overall difficulty of the exam did not vary much from the previous ATMA Exams
  •  ATMA Result will be declared on January 192018 announcing names of all qualifying candidates. 

ATMA 2018 Question Paper

  • The ATMA 2018 Question Paper consists of 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs) from three sections: Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Skills.
  • The test must be attempted within the duration of three hours.
  • For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 1 marks whereas for each incorrect answer, a negative marking of 0.25 mark will be practiced.
  • Candidates need not attempt every section as per the given order. They can choose to attempt any section during the stipulated time.

ATMA 2018 Answer key

Candidates can access ATMA 2018 Answer Key few days after the exam. The answer key will be uploaded for all the three subjects- Verbal Skills, Analytical Reasoning Skills and Quantitative Aptitude. Students can estimate the approximate score can score. Candidates can check the answer keys, ones available through the following procedure:

  • Visit the official website i.e. www.atmaaims.com
  • Enter the required credentials i.e. Application ID and Password.
  • Then, click on submit button. ATMA 2018 Answer Key will be displayed.
  • Download the Answer key and match answer with your answer.
  • Take a print out for future reference.

Challenging ATMA 2018 Answer key

In case of any discordance, applicants can also challenge the answers provided in the key. The challenges against the answer key will be referred to the exam board committees constituted by AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools). 


ATMA 2018 Paper Analysis

Although every year difficulty level and pattern of the test does not fluctuate much, candidates must practice previous year questions sets to attempt maximum questions correctly. Each question will have four options. Every year, each section ranges from easy to moderate level questions.

ATMA 2018 Cut Off

Aspirants must secure minimum marks (Cut Off) so that they are shortlisted for the further admission process. Cut off for each participating institute will be announced by ATMA on their respective web portals. Cut off marks may vary for each institute, depending on various aspects, as stated below:

  • Total qualifying candidates.
  • Number of candidates qualified in the exam.
  • Number of seat availability for admission to institute through ATMA 2018 examination.
  • Difficulty level of the question paper.

Admission Process after Result Declaration

  • The admission to any participating college of ATMA will be based on the total marks a candidate scores in all selection rounds.
  • These scores are valid for one year only. Candidates can opt for any five colleges they want to take admission in.
  • Candidate’s admissions to these institutions are solely decision of the institute.
  • The candidate should write to ATMA Office directly indicating the institutions to which his/ her scores should be sent, with a fee of INR 100/- per Institution.
  • The ATMA Office will send these scores within a week of the receipt of the request.

Students are expected to apply directly to the various Institutions for their Admission Bulletins and Application Forms, within the deadlines for admissions to each Institution.
