Ans. I was admitted into Global Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
Ans. I chose offline mode for taking up the exam. There are certain advantages with taking up offline exam as we always practice for the exam using pen and paper so a sort of confidence always thrive in our self, that we can do it. There are certain disadvantages like if you are not concentrated while taking up the exam you can do some major mistakes like leaving the questions and biggest of them all filling the OMR sheet incorrectly.

Ans. Yes coaching classes seems to be mandatory for clearing an IIT mains or advance examinations. Precisely advance examination because for giving the IIT advance examination there is preparation technique which a coaching classes can give you. Some extra bright kids do not need that too but only 1 out of 100 student is that kind of student who does not need coaching classes for preparing for IIT advanced test. I took coaching in career point, Alwar. This institute has a kind of sincerity and they help their students go as far as possible.
Ans. I would rate it at 7.
Ans. Basically there are two ways through which a student can handle such situation . firstly if a student has a very good hand in 12 NCERT or any board they are from, then cracking IIT main exam is not a big deal. But if you are dedicated toward IIT Advanced examination ,then you need a guidance which only a teacher who is professional in dealing with IIT stuff can give. A student can manage the classes because 3 hours a day of coaching is given through any coaching classes and it can be managed, if not then there is a dummy system i.e most of the coaching classes have their tie ups with certain schools all you need to do is go and give the exams.
Ans My weak areas were organic chemistry and trigonometric mathematics. The only reason I was weak in them was questions in these areas of physics and mathematics have lots and lots of variations in them which can just be commanded by practice, so I practiced a lot to overcome all the problems and confusions I faced. My strong areas were physics, whole mathematics these two subjects were the subjects I was very strong in.
Ans. Mock papers I took were basically test papers given by the coaching institute to the students and the best mock papers can be last year question papers of IIT examination. If a student solves questions from previous years in a continuous manner then that student can have great command over the subject and will easily get to know the pattern and level of the examination. I basically took weekly test series which helps to tell the student where he f stands on preparation level.
Ans. Physics is a subject in which if you have clear concepts then you are going to love this subject, if not then you are going to hate it for life. So while preparing physics you should focus more on concepts and practice. A continuous practice in this subject is very important. When I was preparing all I had was my coaching study material which was very refined and very good. NCERT and last year IIT examination papers. These three things in hand with practice and concept can make you move the rocks. Mathematics is a subject of formulas, if you have learnt and practiced the formulas by heart then this subject is the easiest of the three

Ans. My overconfidence was one of the reasons of my downfall. I could be in better college if I would have prepared better and practiced better. So while preparing for IIT examination one should not be over confident and should keep practicing till you clear the exam.
Ans. Well preparing for something in atmosphere of such a cut throat competition is itself very difficult. But it’s not that difficult to prepare 4 month before the examination. All you need is to have clear concepts in 12th NCERT book and after that a lot of practice. If you have done this, then anyone can prepare it in 4 months. All you need is to be very dedicated
