Ans. Yes I took coaching classes. They helped in every manner like: by motivating on regular interval, good teaching way and the most important thing is that they relate every topic to our daily life. So it becomes easier to learn and memorise. They used to take test after every topic completion and rank student based on their marks. Students score good then teachers make new batch of brilliant student and make some extra effort for the preparation of JEE Main for this every student is interested in brilliant batch so they work hard and get max number in the exams by this technique some weak student also start working hard.
Ans. Syllabus of JEE main and 12th is not so different. I was student of CBSE board so I studied NCERT books that helps me a lot and some self-study and some coaching guidance. It became easier to manage and by preparing my board preparation was also good.
Ans. My weak area was chemistry and I made it strong by means of some extra efforts and daily practice because practice plays an important role everywhere.
I used to study books for any confusion and in this way my basics became strong. According to me it will take some time but if you are interested then nothing is impossible. To crack an exam, there is only need of concentration and hard work.
Ans. In the coaching there were a number of mock test. Some based on only selected topics and some are miscellaneous. Every mock test was designed for the preparation for the JEE main exam. Questions were set as standard based on JEE main exam. The practice of mock test is the best practice to preparation of JEE main exam because every topics comes in mind at a time and the capability of leaning enhanced before the exam.
Ans. Physics is a tough subject and the best book for this is NCERT. Basically for any competitive exam NCERT is the best book because it contains all the topics required in the exam and there is errors in the book and question is based on some standard. Sometimes questions of NCERT comes in the exams as it is. Strategy for the preparation is that you should strong in mechanics because every topic can be related with mechanics.so if your concept in mechanics are weak then make it strong first then go for the preparation. You should practice question of HC Verma and 10 year solve papers of JEE main to know which type of questions come in the exam.
Ans. Chemistry is sometimes confusing because it have a lots of reaction equation to learn and color of organic reaction and properties too. The best book for this is NCERT. And regular practice of question. Most focus on physical chemistry because there are a lot of thing to learn in physical chemistry. The basic thing is that you need practice as much as you can. There are a lots of books in the market to buy but the basic thing is that you should have basic knowledge. Basic knowledge works as root of the tree. If root will be strong then tree will also be strong.
Ans. For mathematics too the only book I preferred is NCERT. Math is not so tough but need practice.
There is a lot of formula to learn in mathematics.
Here are a lot of thing to learn in mathematics .basic thing is that you need practice as much as you can. There are a lots of books in the market to buy but the basic thing is that you should have basic knowledge. Basic knowledge makes your concept strong and when your concept is strong then you can learn easily every topics and can score good marks in board as well as in JEE main exam
Ans. I think there should be no change in the past but my sore was not so good then I think I would change my strategy as mentioned above.
Ans. The first thing for those student who is starting 4 months before the exams should clear their basics and they have to work hard. I think they should study around 8 hours a day minimum to clear JEE Mains because the syllabus contains enough material to learn and it is not easy to learn in four months but if you clear your basics then preparation will take less time and will be easy to learn topics quickly.
