NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
Jagdeep Singh secured 41% marks in JEE Main 2010. He got admissions in Lovely professional University Punjab in same year through counseling. He took coaching from his home town where he used to study 4 hours a day daily. He says practicing through NCERT books along with Pradeep books is sufficient to crack JEE Main Exam. He also share his ways of preparation for the exam through the interview. Here are the questions we asked to him:
Ans. Since when I qualify JEE Main the exam was offline mode in 2010. So I preferred offline mode for exam. If that time I had choose between online and offline, I choose offline because in offline mode all questions are in front of us unlike in online mode where only one question are present in screen at a time. Hence according to me best mode is offline in which upto 10 question are present in one page and for next question we don't have click on mouse.

Ans. Yes I did coaching classes in my home town Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh at Sunshine Coaching Centre. Since there is less coaching institute in my home town so I prefer to join sunshine coaching centre. Firstly they taught us course if intermediate after board exam they started special Entrance classes for us. They helped us lot. There was only 14 students in our batch and we study 4 hours daily before exam. We worked hard for preparation by practicing lots of question. I really thankful to Alok Srivastava and Prashant sir for helping.
Ans. Since I join the sunshine coaching centre for class 12th exam where teachers helps us in solving entrance questions along every topic of class 12th subject. They firstly teach a chapter and then they gives brief notes on that topic after that on every Sunday we discussed some previous year questions on that topic, this is how I manage entrances preparations along class 12th exam.
Ans. My strong areas are mathematics and chemistry because I understand each and every topic in coaching class except inorganic part in chemistry but I always tried to get proper concept on that topic in which I get difficulty.
Physics is always my weak area where I really worked hard to get a point. So for entrance I preferred single book for preparation and I start preparing topic which I liked most in class 12 exam. And I took help from teacher and intelligent student for hard topic in physics but never lose my confidence and I practice lots of entrance question for weak areas.
Ans. I think NCERT books of 12th and 11th classes are best material for preparation JEE main along with Pradeep Publication books. Since in Pradeep publication books the topics are elaborated nicely and easy to understand. There are lots of questions to practice for entrance test. I used Pradeep publication and Arihant Publishers MCQ for Math, physics and chemistry which is more than sufficient for me. Hence I didn't joined any online test series.
Ans. Books - Concepts of Physics 1 and 2 by Pradeep Publication, NCERT books, and Arihant Publishers for practising MCQs of Physics
First of prepare the concept behind every topics. If you have joined any coaching classes then after classes revise the whole notes everyday atleast two times or an hour and practice some questions on that topic. And on Sunday once again revise whole weeks note and practice some questions.
Current Electricity, Heat transfer, Optics, Waves, sound Thermodynamics are the topics should be covered first because most questions in entrance are coming from this topics according to me. Most important is time management so divide it such that you can give time each subject every day.

Ans. Books- Chemistry by Pradeep publication, NCERT books and Arihant publishers book for practising MCQs
In chemistry most of the conceptual questions are coming from bond formation and breaking. Sometime question are from reaction. So We should by heart all reaction given in NCERT book and practise all the questions based on reaction and bond formation from Arihant and Pradeep books. Since In chemistry Section half questions are theoretical so focus on Theory based MCQs in Pradeep and Arihant book. "
Ans. Books - Mathematics by RD Sharma class 11 and 12 and Mathematics by R S Aggarwal Class 11 and 12
For math practice MCQs as much as you can so that you become master each and every Topic.
You should practice math atleast 3 hours per day take as much time you want for a topic but create the notes of steps and solve a question 2 - 3 times & try to cut steps in next time so that you can solve a questions in few steps in few minutes.
This type of management is very helpful in exams. For math, in exam try to solve questions as fast as you can for that you should practice daily.
You should solve 20 question daily from different topic before 1 month exam.
Ans. I would like to change my school want to take in other school where top faculty are present. And wanted to do foundation courses after 10th class So that I can build my very strong in physics and other subject. I want to say that no can change the past but everyone has ability to plan your future only you have to set your goal and work hard to achieve that target. So work hard today so that there is no need to go back in time change things.
