Q 1. What did you choose - Offline or Online mode for taking up the exam?
Offline. In offline mode, we can write on paper so it saves time as looking on screen and then solving vs solving it write there without looking above everytime saves times and is very efficient. Also you can have a glance at all the question at a particular time , as sometimes some other question can give u trick or remind you to solve a question.
Q 2. Did you qualify for JEE - Advanced?
Q 3. Did you take Coaching Classes? If yes, how did they help in your story?
Yes, in a way i took coaching. I took study material from a coaching institute and continued my school . But this didn’t helped much so in 12th I joined online programs and started solving their stuffs and also in mean while i continued to solve the rest of the books mentioned everywhere in whole 2 year span.
Q 4. How did you manage JEE Main Preparation along with your Class 12th exam?
In fact preparing for 12th along with JEE is not tough. Just read the NCERT books once after the chapter has been covered in PCM. This will not take much time and for rest subjects follow school material.
Q 5. What were your Strong and Weak areas? How did you prepare and what special efforts did you put for improving them?
My weak area was Physics initially and in 12th actually i was still in rotational motion. So I last time read theory from Resnick and Halliday, old editions (u cant get now in market) and started solving all sorts of question from many ques.
Q 6. What mock papers did you take?
I took Narayana mock papers and also online papers. It really helps in preparation but do remember that finish the paper according to time limit otherwise it gives to false confidence sometimes.

Q 7. Write some of the Preparation tips for someone who is starting 4 months before the exam?
Read NCERT chemistry textbook and solve questions if u get some problem then go for that topic from rest book.(in physical read some concepts extra) in maths solve questions . In physics read DC pandey and Hc verma and solve both question and NCERT level physics is not enough.
Q 8. Physics: Mention the Strategy and Books Followed for this section.
For Physics, first i read the topics from Resnick and Haliday and coaching material . Then started to solve HC verma and DC pandey. After doing this for some chapters try Irodov some selected question. and also last years question, then jump to next section, sections like mechanics, optics etc .
Q 9. Chemistry: Mention the Strategy and Books Followed for this section.
For Chemistry, read NCERT books and it also helps for exam too then in Physical chemistry read extra topics form some material and then start solving questions from various books on various topics , taking each section one by one and then in middle go for last year questions too.
Q 10. Mathematics: Mention the Strategy and Books Followed for this section.
For Maths, first learn concept from the material any one has then solve questions from JEE Arihant books or some good publication. After that try solving some question from last year question paper. Solving last year question helps you to set your target level and gives confidence and you don’t go into deep knowledge.
Q 11. What are the things you would like to go back in time and change to get into a better college?
I made many mistakes in choosing the books and later I learned that except some books many are same but now I do have a list of good books which I learned after these 2 yrs.
