Ans. I did my coaching class from Vision Classes, Patna. Yes, joining coaching class is important and it gives the way how one should do preparation for entrance exams. In my story it is helpful like I had to cover the topics whatever discussed in class and after that I was clear in concept of that topic and problems that is very important for JEE, can be solved very easily. But one more thing the self-study plays better role than coaching class in my story.
Ans. I had a pressure of both- the board exams and JEE. But I had to handle both of these exams. I managed it by giving 1 month of time to board exams when the exams were near. And I scored 78.6% marks in 12th board. After my exams, I focused on JEE with full concentration.
Ans. Well my strong areas was chemistry and physics. So I didn’t worry much about this subject. I used to revise all the concepts of physics and it really helped me in scoring well in physics. My weak section was mathematics but I improved it by solving many questions and referring good books.
Ans. I took mock tests from Arihant book. I also followed study material provided by my coaching classes. I used to solve the mock test in the defined time format and it really helped me a lot. I would say, test series plays a good role in preparation of JEE.
Ans. Physics is the subject of concepts so one should be good in gaining concepts and visualization which helps in solving problems. The very first step is to be thorough with the theory section as it clears the doubts. After having clear concepts, there are many reference books that one can refer for practice numericals.
Following are the books that I followed-
1.Concepts Of Physics (H C Verma)
2.Arihant's Book (D C Pandey)
3.Previous Year Question By D C Pandey

Ans. Chemistry is the subject of data in which one has to remember the concepts. Physical chemistry is a numerical section. One can prepare the subject by practicing and revising the concepts.
Organic chemistry is a conceptual section. One has to be thorough with the basic reactions and solve numerous questions based on the reactions.
Inorganic chemistry is that subject that one has to give at least 1 hour a day to score good marks. So that things can be remembered easily.I followed some books and they are as follows-
1. NCERT BOOK (the most important book)
2. OP Tondon (Physical Chemistry)
3. Previous Year Question Bank
4. Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J. D. Lee for Inorganic Chemistry
5. Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by RC Mukherjee
Ans. Clear concepts and good practice are necessary for scoring well in mathematics. The very first step that I followed was to solve all the questions of NCERT textbooks. There are many sections which are scoring such as- co-ordinate geometry, algebra and etc. Preparation according to the interest in the subject makes it easier to understand and analyze the problems.
There are certain books that I followed, they are as follows:
1. NCERT textbooks
2. Algebra: TMH (Tata McGraw Hill)
3. Co-ordinate Geometry: Arihant
4. Calculus: Arihant
5. Trigonometry: RD Sharma
Ans. Yeah this is very good if ever I get a chance to go back. If I get any chance then I would have scored good rank by preparing hard and would have selected a better college. Getting a good college is very important for the further studies. I would have searched on websites for the ranking of colleges and then applied for the better college as per the rank.

Ans. One should have good concepts in the subjects and should have a good level of accuracy to clear the JEE Main exam. To all those candidates who are starting just 4 months before the exam, should be thorough with the subjects of the scoring subjects such as chemistry. Subjects should be prepared with the high level of confidence. For solving questions of physics and mathematics, one can refer any good reference book. Referring books can help in gaining concepts at a greater level. I would suggest to solve the previous years’ question papers before going to the reference books.
