SNAP 2019 Result

Symbiosis International University will declare SNAP 2019 Result tentatively in the second week of January 2019. Result will be declared in the form of a scorecard on the official website of SNAP, i.e. www.snaptest.org. Only those who qualify SNAP 2019 will be issued scorecard via post to their communication address.

The test score is calculated in percentile out of 150 marks. After declaration of SNAP 2019 Result, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their preferred institutes. The selected candidates have to go through Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (WAT).

Final marks will be scaled down to 50 for creating final merit list. For Group Exercise and WAT, marks will be given out of 10 and for out of 30 for Personal Interview Round. Candidates can check all important information relating to SNAP 2019 Result further in the article.

SNAP 2019 Result Important Dates

SNAP 2019 Result is expected to be released in January 2019.However, till now there is no official notification released regarding SNAP 2019 Result declaration. Candidates can check dates for important events regarding the same.

How to Check SNAP 2019 Result?

Candidates can check SNAP 2019 Result on the official portal. Only qualified candidates’ result will be dispatched via post to their communication address. All aspirants can check their result via following steps:

  • Visit the official website of SNAP i.e. www.snaptest.org
  • Click on the link, ‘Download SNAP 2019 Scorecard’
  • Enter SNAP ID and Password
  • Cross check the details mentioned on the score card
  • Take a print out for further use

Note that candidates who will qualify SNAP 2019 exam, their scorecard will be sent individually to their mentioned address.

Details Mentioned on SNAP 2019 Scorecard

After downloading the scorecard for SNAP 2019, candidates must ensure that following details are mentioned.

  • SNAP Overall Scores
  • SNAP Sectional Scores

  • Overall Scores- Score obtained by candidates out of total 150 marks

SNAP 2019 Answer Key

The official SNAP 2019 Answer Key will be released just a few days after the commencement of exam on the official website of SNAP. SNAP 2019 Answer Key will tentatively be available in third week of December 2018. Candidates need to follow these steps to download official SNAP 2019 Answer Key:

  • Visit the official website of SNAP, i.e. www.snaptest.org
  • Click on SNAP 2019 Answer Key
  • Then download the answer key according to your question paper code.

SNAP 2019 Final Merit List

The final merit list for SNAP 2019 is prepared by calculating candidates’ marks by considering the parameters in following weightage:-

Candidates who score the minimum required marks in written test will be included in the rank list. If two candidates score the same marks, tiebreaker policy will be used to calculate the rank of the candidate.

SNAP 2019 Tie Breaker Policy

If two or more candidates score the same marks in SNAP 2019, the tie-breaker policy is used for calculating the rank.

  • The priority will be given to the one who has scored higher marks in the Quant section.
  • If still the same rank persists, the Verbal section’s marks will be preferred for ranking.
  • If the rank still doesn’t change, the same rank will be awarded to both or more candidates who have scored same marks.

SNAP 2019 Expected Cut off

SNAP 2019 Cut off will be released separately for all the institutes accepting SNAP score such as the number of test takers, the difficulty level of the exam are taken into account while calculating the cut-off.

Factors affecting cut off

SNAP 2019 Cut Off changes every year due to the factors that affect cut-off. Following are these factors:

  • Number of candidates appeared in the test
  • Difficulty level of the test
  • Number of seats available for admissions
  • Previous year’s cut off.

SNAP 2019 Selection Process

As for SNAP Selection Process, it should be noted that it is conducted in online mode only. Candidates are shortlisted for Group Exercise and Personal Interview & Word Ability Test (GE-PIWAT) based on their overall SNAP Percentile.

  • It is mandatory to attend all components and tests of GE-PIWAT process in order to be eligible for admission to any PG programmes of SIU.
  • Only candidates who attend the whole selection process shall be considered as eligible for preparing final merit / wait/reject list.
  • A candidate needs to register for SNAP Test & also for the institutes offering programs. They have to pay separate registration fees for different programs.
  • The selected candidates will be allocated seats in the seat allotment procedure of SNAP 2019 based on their ranking in the final merit list and choice of college and courses.
  • Candidates will have to visit the allotted institute for reporting along with all the necessary documents for the purpose of document verification.
  • SNAP 2019 seat allotment will have a final merit list, a reject list, and a wait list depending on the number of candidates.
