NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
With the entrance exam season fast approaching, aspirants are in the middle of preparation frenzy, trying to perfect their months of rigorous hard work for the management exam. In this article, we offer an insight into the preparation strategies & resources for SNAP exam’s highly scoring yet tricky section of Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The questions are mostly based on critical reasoning, deductive logic, analogies, logical reasoning sets, series, visual reasoning, arrangement, blood relations, and puzzles.
For this year, there will be 35 questions in the section, which are usually quite straightforward in nature but lack of adequate practice may result in your spending more time on them than you can afford to. Ideally, attempting 20 questions or more in about 30 minutes would be enough to bring you some decent score in SNAP Reasoning.

Given that there is provision for negative marking in SNAP Test, you get less than a minute per question and each wrong answer will cost you 0.25 mark. Evidently, you do not have the luxury of either wasting time or be incorrect. Speed and accuracy are of utmost importance as the goal is to answer the maximum questions correctly within a limited time frame. Repeated Practice will help you identify the questions you can tackle head-on and the ones to leave. Please bear in mind that to score well you need not attempt all the questions but, solve the ones you are sure of in the limited span of time.
The syllabus for the Analytical and Reasoning section of SNAP Test covers Analytical Reasoning topics such as Distribution, Linear Arrangement, and Circular Arrangement; Critical Reasoning topics such as Strong & Weak arguments, Deductions, Assumptions, etc.; as well as miscellaneous reasoning questions related to Coding-Decoding, Analogies, Series - numeric and alphabetic, Clocks, Blood Relations and Directions, Symbol operation, Venn Diagrams, etc.
