Ans. No, I didn’t attend any coaching class, I was a mathematics major in my graduation program. There were more than 50% of the questions asked in mathematics, so it was quite easy for me. I had also prepared for the exams by solving previous 5 years’ TANCET questions.

Ans. My strong area was Mathematics and co-incidentally TANCET also covers Mathematics for more than 50% of its questions. My weak area was computer based questions which was covered around 10-30%. I had to study all the computer and program languages to cover that section.

Ans. I had some study materials for the practice. I had a TANCET guide by Sakthi Publishers, which had contained previous 5 years' questions papers. The guide also had 10 practice questions at the back of each chapter. Nowadays, there are many online mock tests available on the websites, you can opt them too.
Ans. Firstly I would suggest to be thorough with the syllabus and prepare at least 3 sections to the fullest. So that, it can achieve you to fetch more marks. If you are unable to get the syllabus then I would recommend joining a coaching class for the crash course. Try practicing the aptitude part daily as it is easily forgettable.
Ans. RS Agarwal for quantitative aptitude and reasoning is enough along with some other books that covers previous years’ question papers. I used to solve the questions by using short cut methods and it is good to use as it saves lots of time.
Ans. Nothing, because I got into the best college for the course in the country.
Ans. RS Agarwal book for quantitative aptitude and reasoning along with previous years’ questions was all I followed. The main concern regarding the reasoning section is don’t answer the questions where you are not sure. As there is negative marks so it is wise to leave the questions you don’t know the exact answers.
Ans. You just need basic computer knowledge to ace this section. If you have any guide for TANCET then it is enough. A few previous years’ questions along with the study materials available online with regard to TANCET will help to an extent.
