STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
The Quantitative Aptitude section in TANCET 2019 evaluates a candidate’s skills in solving mathematical problems based on primarily elementary topics and some complex topics from the Intermediate or equivalent level. This section takes up about 25% of the whole paper of TANCET 2019 and each incorrect answer warrants a negative marking of -0.25.
Because of the provision for negative marking in this section, it is very important that candidates attempt the QA questions carefully, in order to score well in TANCET, as negative marking can bring down your composite score.

TANCET 2019 is scheduled for June 22 and 23, 2019. The online registration for TANCET 2019 is open from May 8 till May 25, 2019. Eligible candidates can apply on the official website of TANCET.
TANCET MBA 2019 question paper consists of four sections while TANCET 2019 MCA paper has six sections. In both the papers, Quantitative Ability is a crucial section carrying almost equal weightage.
TANCET 2019 Syllabus for both MBA as well as MCA covers elementary mathematical topics and some complex topics from the intermediate level.

Quantitative Aptitude section of TANCET MCA will additionally cover the following topics:
|Calculus||Function Limits, Continuous Functions, Maxima & Minima, Normal & Tangents, Integration of Function by Parts, Substitution and partial fractions, Defining integral applications to volumes, Surfaces of frustums of sphere, Defining integral applications to volumes|
|Differential Equation||Differential equations of first orders with solutions, Linear differential equations and their constant coefficients, Homogeneous linear equations|
|Probability & Statistics||Basic concepts of probability theory, Averages, Dependent and independent events, frequency distributions, and measures of dispersions, skewness and kurtosis, random variable and distribution functions, mathematical expectations, Binomial, Poisson, normal distributions, curve fitting, and the principle of least squares, correlation, and regression.|
