Digvijay Singh appeared for JEE Advancedin 2014 and secured 167 marks. He got admission call from IIT Patna, NIT Jaipur, MBM Jodhpur and ISM Dhanbad. He chose IIT (ISM) Dhanbad for his engineering studies. We had a questionnaire with him and he shares some of his preparation mantra and success strategies from class 12th to IIT Dhanbad.

Ans. Yes, I did take coaching. I went to Resonance-KOTA. The coaching was very helpful for helping me crack JEE examination. I actually took a drop after 12th, so it was kind of easy for me as I already knew about the topics and was familiar with a lot of things, I just needed to do practice and it was a great platform there.
Ans. I took around 101 mock tests for JEE Advanced.
Ans. I was string in Mathematics and Chemistry but a little weak in Physics reason being a lack of practice and also a good teacher. I prepared hard and practiced from HC Verma to excel my subject.
Ans. I enrolled for FIITJEE test series. Also, resonance used to take some tests on weekly basis. They also ran an additional course after JEE-Mains and we did some revision and doubt sessions there. Mostly we were focused on solving more and more questions so as to revise the concepts and maintain the speed as well as cracking JEE takes a deep knowledge of concepts as well as a good speed and accuracy for problem solving.
Ans. I made my concepts strong and solved numerical problems as much as I could. I followed coaching material and some refreshers. They helped me a lot.
Ans. I followed following books for preparing Physics for JEE Advanced 2017.
Ans. It was one of my strong subject. I didn’t need much effort to polish my strong subject. I preferred good refreshers to make it on track.
Ans. The books that I followed for preparing Chemistry are as follows-
Ans. I would say, work on concepts and make them crystal clear. Make a small copy containing important notes related to subject and revise it on daily basis. Do not try to remember answers to a question and skip the concept as it’s not the answer that will help but it’s the concept that would rock you.
Ans. I followed 5 books for preparing Mathematics for JEE Advanced-
