NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
JEE Advanced 2019 is a national-level entrance exam for providing admissions in Engineering or Architecture programs in the top institutes of India such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, CFTIs etc. The successful applicants of JEE Main 2019 are only eligible to write JEE Advanced examination.
It will be conducted by the seven zonal IITs under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) for admission into Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs for all the IITs. Joint Admission Board (JAB) has decided that the test will be conducted in online mode from 2018.

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for JEE Advanced 2019 exam.
The candidate should be born on or after October 1, 1993. There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Only those who qualified JEE Main 2019 and have a rank within top 2, 00,000 are eligible to apply. The reservation for candidates include 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST. The remaining 50.5% is OPEN for all candidates.
The candidate should have appeared for Class 12th or equivalent exam for the first time in all the subjects in either 2018 or 2019. Those who appeared for the first time in their Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2017 or earlier are NOT eligible.
JEE advanced exam can be given by a candidate a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Therefore, candidates who appeared in JEE Advanced 2018 for the first time are also eligible.
The candidate is not eligible for JEE Advanced 2019 if he/she have been admitted in an IIT/ISM (irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program) OR accepted the IIT/ISM seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past.
Candidates can fill JEE Advanced application 2019 from 4th week of April, 2019 in the online mode only. Candidates can avail the form on the official website of JEE Advanced till 1st week of May 2019.

The admit cards for JEE Advanced 2019 will release in the 2nd week of May 2019. These can be downloaded from the official website www.jeeadv.nic.in.
In order to download JEE Advanced 2019 Admit Card, one must follow these steps:
Candidates need to carry admit card to the examination center along with photo ID proof. Without admit card, they will not be allowed to write the examination.
Slight changes in the question paper pattern for JEE Advanced 2019 are expected. As per previous year, exam pattern would be as follows:
The marking scheme is expected to have full marking, partial marking, zero marking and negative marking depending on the question.
JEE Advanced 2019 is scheduled in the third week of May 2019 and the syllabus shall be decided by the organizing institute.

The Answer key for JEE Advanced 2019 examination will be released in the end of May 2019. The Response sheet of the candidates will also be available for download.
JEE Advanced result 2019 will be declared around 2nd week of June 2019 at the official website www.jeeadv.nic.in. Candidates can check their marks in individual subjects as well as the total marks scored along with category-wise All India Rank (AIR) through the result.
Follow these steps to check JEE Advanced 2019 result:
All the successful candidates will be shortlisted to participate in JEE Advanced Counselling 2019. It will be conducted by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
Cut off is the minimum marks that a candidate needs to score in JEE Advanced 2019 to be able to sit for counselling. Cut off marks depend upon how many students registered, how many actually sat for the exam, last year’s cutoff etc.
JEE Advanced 2019 Cut off will vary institute-wise and category-wise. As for the total marks, a candidate must obtain the below-set marks to qualify (As per JEE Advanced 2018 exam pattern)
There are 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) including ISM Dhanbad (now converted to IIT) which are the participating institutes of JEE Advanced 2019. These 23 IITs will offer around 10,572 B.Tech seats on the basis of JEE Advanced 2019.
