STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
PU CET is conducted by the Panjab University, Chandigarh for admission to Undergraduate programmes viz. B.Tech, B.Pharm, BHMS and B.Sc. (Hons.). Candidates can fill PU CET 2018 Application Form available on its website starting from March 12,2018 and the Admit Card will be released on April 24, 2018. This year PUCET 2018 will be conducted on April 29, 2018. The Result of PU CET 2018 will be announced on May 14, 2018.

For BSc Course (Hon. School Semester System) in various teaching departments:
|Botany/ Zoology||Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English subjects.|
|Anthropology/ Geology/ Chemistry/ Physics and Electronics/ Physics||Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for ST / SC /OBC candidates) in 10+2 examination with Mathematics/Biology, Physics, English, Chemistry subjects.|
|Biotechnology/ Biophysics||Students must have attained minimum 50% marks (45% for ST / OBC / SC candidates) in 10+2 examination with Biology/ Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, English subjects.|
|Biochemistry/ Microbiology||It is important for the aspirants to score minimum 50% marks (45% for ST / OBC / SC candidates) in 10+2 examination with Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics, Physics, English subjects.|
|Mathematics||To apply for this course it is important for the aspirants to have Mathematics as one of the subjects and should have scored minimum 50% marks (45% for ST / OBC / SC candidates) in 10+2 examination.|
|B.Pharm (Credit based Semester System)||Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for ST / OBC / SC candidates) in 10+2 examination with Physics, English Chemistry, and have any one of the following subjects: Biology/ Mathematics.|
Also, candidates passed out/appeared in 10+2 examination from Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad will not be allowed to appear in PUCET as Mahila Gram Vidyapith has been derecognized by the Punjab University, Chandigarh.
Punjab University provides reservation as per the norms of the government. Candidates who fall under the reserved category as SC/ST/OBC/Physically Disabled are considered eligible to avail the benefits of reservation. Punjab University does have a reserved quota for NRI candidates as well.
