PU CET Exam Dates have been announced by Panjab University. It is conducted for the admissions into UG and PG programmes. PU CET UG is scheduled for June 04, 2017 and PU CET PG is scheduled for June 10 – 11, 2017. PU CET Application Form will be available from the fourth week of March 2017. Candidates can apply online on the official website. The application fee is INR 1760 for general category while it is INR 880 for SC/ST category. Candidates must be passed the 12th class examination to apply for UG courses such as B.Pharma, BHMS and B.Sc. and they must not be less than 17 years of age. To apply for PG courses, they must have a graduation degree in any stream with at least 50% of marks. The result is to be declared in June 2017. After the declaration of result, the shortlisted candidates will be called for admission process.
PUCET exam pattern varies according to the courses. It is pen paper based examination and consists of multiple choice questions. Each question carries two marks. PU CET has a provision of negative marking i.e. one-fourth marks are deducted for every incorrect response. PU CET Application Form will be available soon on the official website of Panjab University. Candidates willing to apply for PU CET can fill the application form till the third week of May 2017. They have to register at puchd.ac.in by providing the personal details and E-Mail ID. PU CET application process comprises five steps such as registration, fill up the required details, fee payment, uploading of photograph and signature and submit the form. After submitting the form, candidates are required to take a printout of the form for its further usage. The payment of application fee can be either in online mode (credit/ debit card/ net banking) or in offline mode (through demand draft or challan). Once the application form is submitted by a candidate, the entered details cannot be altered in any condition. They are advised to verify the entered details before submitting the application form. PU CET 2017 Admit Card will be available for download on the official website from last week of May 2017. Candidates have to enter the Registration ID and Password to get the admit card. Admit Card can be downloaded till the exam day. It is an important document as it authenticates the identity of a candidate. It also contains the following information as listed below:
A candidate is not allowed to appear for PU CET entrance test without a valid admit card. They must carry an identity proof and admit card on the day of examination.
PU CET exam is conducted on June 04, 2017 for undergraduate courses such as B.Pharma, BHMS and B.Sc. in offline mode. The entrance test for post graduate courses are conducted on June 10 – 11, 2017. The medium of the examination is English only. Two marks will be rewarded for every correct response whereas 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The written test consists of four parts which contain 60 questions in each section. Candidates have to solve each section in 70 minutes only. Here are the table for the PU CET 2017 Exam Dates.

PU CET Answer Key will be published on the official website within a week of the examination. Candidates can download by using their Roll Number and calculate their total marks. If any candidate wishes to challenge the answer key or to verify their result. They will be provided with a photocopy of their answer sheet upon payment of INR 10,000 within ten days of the result.
PU CET Merit List will be come out on the same day after the declaration of result. The admission to B.Sc. and B.Pharma courses will be done strictly on the basis of PU CET Merit List.
PU CET 2017 Results will be announced in the second week of June 2017 for all the courses. Candidates can check the result on the official website of Panjab University by providing their Roll Number and Date of Birth. The admission to the undergraduate will be based on the PU CET Results. The qualified candidates in PU CET 2017 will be called for the counselling process. Candidates who have to appear for a retest in 12th class examination are not eligible for admission process. It will start from the last week of June 2017. Applicants must fill their preferences online to get admission in various courses. They will have to submit the counselling fee either in online or offline mode at the Panjab University. They will get the seat based on merit list and provisional admission letter. The seat confirmation of a candidate is subject to fee submission.
